anyone know how to resolve error message when opening r2r keygen for fabfilter “ the parameter is incorrect”. how do i get by this? i’ve tried running as admin still no luck

 

Obviously, you have to find the correct parameter.

What OS and version of the OS are you running btw? I've never seen that message with any of the keygens.

 

was your anit-virus running when you opened the archive or the keygen?
Also possible that keygen got nuked during download.

 

An AV would put it immediately into the quarantine, so he either doesn't run an AV or he stopped it. I think he might be running MacOS and trying to make it work with WINE maybe?

 

sorry, i should have mentioned i’m on windows, i was running an AV but there was no alert or any problems with the antivirus. The file was not put into quarantine.

 

Tried with FabFilter Total Bundle v2021.05.07 Incl Patched and Keygen-RET, worked, Win7. So not a general problem.

 

Or Team V.R 26 May 2021. No keygen needed, I´m with this one without any issue. W7 as well.

Thanks everyone, it turns out it was the AV. It wanted to neutralize the keygen and when I excluded it it opened. Thanks again

 

You will not always get an alert that a file has been quarantined, deleted or otherwise altered. If you successfully download a file, do not open it right away. Turn off virus scanning first. Some archived files as mentioned, get nuked during download (rare, but is does happen). The the deemed threat in the archive will usually get removed. Sometimes the whole download disappears.

This has been my past experience. Most, not all, newer R2R keygens have no issues. Most V.R. releases, not all, have no issues.
