Hi! Maybe this is a stupid question, but the Neural DSP Cory Wong version I downloaded is making a high pitched noise after I use it for some minutes. Any idea why?

    I'm using Ableton 10.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi!
Try to use all the Neural plugs in "normal" mode when recording. See if the issue goes away.
High mode only when you finish you mix or render/bounce the track you are working on.
    Good luck!

How does it start, just suddenly or does it come on gradually like amp feedback? Does it happen no matter what amp or pedal you have engaged?

I have never had this problem, nor any problem whatsoever with Cory Wong, but I've had a similar problem in Nolly ever since I bought it when it first launced. After playing on amp 1 for a few minutes, the signal starts dying kinda like a starved fuzz or broken tube/s, and eventually it goes absolutely quiet. When I change to any of the other amps, everything works perfectly but when I change back to amp 1 it's still dead :dunno: I have emailed Neural about this but they have no idea why this happens. A few other people have also reported this but even after they released v2.0 the problem still persisted. Probably something weird happening inside the neural network.

Seems not be a general problem, both are working smoothly here (VST2, Win7).

Yeah it starts gradually after minutes of playing. It doesn't really sound like feedback, just a really high pitch noise that keeps getting louder :( And it persists despite changing to other amps/presets.
It's a shame because this plugin sounds so good :(

I suppose you already tried a complete uninstall with something like Revo Uninstaller Pro and reinstalling?

Yeah, my problem with Nolly only seems to happen for a few others. The ones I've talked to that has the same problem describes it exactly the same though. My best guess is that it has something to do with the interface drivers :dunno:

Have you tried a different interface?

No. I only have 2 RME interfaces, that uses the same drivers more or less, and when others have brought over their interfaces I haven't thought of testing it. I'll try it the next time someone brings their interface over!

The only time I've played through Nolly on someone elses PC, it was through a Scarlett 4i4 and everything seemed fine there. Don't know if it was because of the interface or the system.

I haven't made any recordings here with my RME and Neural DSP, but playing recordings or using VSTis with Nolly or Cory didn't cause any problem.
RME drivers are known to be rock-solid, I'd surprised if they're the cause. Strange.
