Has anyone got this problem where as you could see the legal Kontakt libraries on the browser but be unable to play with them (giving you the not installed error) but having no problem with Kontakt Portable?
How can i have both of them at the same time? Or is it just wishful thinking?

 

What version of KK are you using ... 2.6.2 ?
I seem to have no problem over her ... but than again I only have legal content over here

 

Did you use the Kontakt library installer tool over on the sister site? The only thing is, usually the library wouldn't show up in Kontakt itself if you didn't use the Add Library tool, so I'm not sure why its showing up in Kontakt but not Komplete.

 

The latest update legit and all. This is what i get:

 

hm ... seems there is some problem with the content location ... Did this recently change or something ???
try the automatic fix options this might actually find the correct location of the content (Or use Manual options if you know what the location is)

 

Thats the thing. After i point it to the correct folders the error message "This library is not installed pops up". so frustrating.

 

That is really weird ... Might be worth posting in the NI forum since its about the Legal versions
they might be able to provide some better help on why this happens and how to resolve it

it look as a missing regedit location for analog dream. it should be pointing to the Library folder

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Analog Dreams
ContentDir x:/anywhere/Analog Dreams

 

I know they are very busy at the time because of some issues during the summer sales and they are also implementing VST3 into maschine 2 and making VST3 versions of there own plugins
Not to forget the new Pro-53 like synth that is no included with Maschine 2
