i am not sure buddy. but for me i had 2 problems for which the presets didn't work. firstly, if u updated ur nexus from 2 to 3.4.4 and have the old factory sample folder , in that case some of ur presets won't work. secondly, there should be a "!Info" file in each sample folder. make sure it is there, otherwise ur presets wont work. if it still does not work , u can try downloading the samples again and not madify anything. if u had changed name of anything, chances are it wont work. apart from that use the .fxp preset files which were provided with nexus 3.4.4.

i have uninstalled my old nexus 2 and installed nexus 3 again. the nexus content folder is that of version 3.4.4 and I have not modified any file and I already downloaded it several times in case I had an error.
The only thing I don't see is the info file you are talking about. I don't have it in any of the sample folders. what can i do to fix it?

 

sorry, the info file is between the samples folders in each and every one of them. I had not searched well

 

well , in that case , i dont know what could go wrong.
but if the problem is occuring with some particular presets in an expansion, then most probably there is a problem with your "Rom" sample folder.
in that case i suggest you delete that folder, download a new fresh one, perhaps download from a different source (i downloaded all the expansions from looptorrent.net) and check if the problem is fixed.

I have managed to download one of the expansions that I found more presets with error. It is the one of hiphop4 I downloaded it in another forum. after trying this new all the presets in that expansion work. so we have the problem in the full content that we have previously downloaded

 

Anyone who have the email authorization screen since some days ago. Have been working until yesterday when I got the screen msg. I'm on MAC Catalina.
Edit:Had to install the users reFX folder again... Working now -

News: reFX has released a new expansion for Nexus 3 called "Slap House", and a new version has been released, 3.5.2

 

On Win 10 to set library path edit :
"C:\Users\Public\Documents\reFX\nexus\settings.json"

 

same on W11.... works great without any issues here.

It is probably your antivirus who delete the DLL, due to "suspect" wrapping.
Check your AV log/history

 

Sorry guys, I downloaded all the expansions but they are .nxp and therefore they are not read by the Nexus3 being that in the Nexus Content there are the .fxp. How can I make it all work?

Hesitant to use this anymore. Originally installed on Mac, now got a new PC and the .dll file gets picked up as a trojan by virus scanner. I did block the ip’s but I just can’t take a chance after dropping money in building my own system. I was in the middle of writing this post yesterday when my system crashed due to a “blue screen” just from playing with the file in Windows Defender.

 

Been using this for almost every day after it was released. Only problem I have is that Windows Defender keeps flagging it as a virus even though I have added it as an exception. Works flawlessly.

 

Get ESET, you can add an exception there and it works.
