UWP was ineffected and simply crap.
And i simply couldnt get the OS Hardware implementation in windows to work. it refused to install for me the Netflix app for example.

And thats probably bcs MS thought we dont allow the download of apps from store, when we dont know about the hardware. Why? When you install software you will find out if its for the hardware or not - had it to be handled as toddler.

    (Appple Store isnt better there.)

Before my WS was completely broken - this happened when you turn useless privacy services off.

So i guess this wont get changed with new WS.

Have never expected to see Win11, i mean didnt MS say, Win10 will be the last Windows you have ever to install?

Also the kernel versions doesn't make much sense.
Notice the jump from kernel 6.3 to 10.0

    PHP:

    Windows 2000           5.0
    Windows XP             5.1
    Windows Server 2003    5.2
    Windows Vista          6.0
    Windows Server 2008    6.0
    Windows 7              6.1
    Windows Server 2008 R2 6.1
    Windows Server 2012    6.2
    Windows 8              6.2
    Windows 8.1            6.3
    Windows Server 2012 R2 6.3
    Windows 10             10.0
    Windows 11             Unknown

Clearly the Windows 10 v10 kernel is a market decision naming. I didn't know and it's funny lol
The other ones are more or less coherent.

Installed the leaked version of Windows 11 Pro yesterday here. So far I'm not experiencing any issues whatsoever. It's working with audio drivers, Live 11 etc... Not one snag or one incompatibility so far.

Running the leaked version here since yesterday with no issues so far. Live 11 works fine as well as audio drivers for my interface etc... all running fine.

Very interesting indeed. Lots of people have had serious issues with usb 3.1/3.2 ports not working in Windows 10 (seems to send power but not data to/from device) any idea if this has been fixed?

Possibly the most fortunate or unfortunate thing about new Windows O/S's, depending on how you look at it is the hacker's versions after they have been released.

Not only do people who surgically remove things in Windows tend to release more CPU friendly and stable versions with a pile of items removed that are useless apps for many people who are not home users that want a desktop to be like their phone; the hacked versions made for DAW's and cut-back versions have shown to be far more stable and faster. This has been a source of questioning since before Windows 7.
Phones are nearly the all-in-one nowadays, so why they pile a lot of apps that are not useful for a lot of businesses and specialised people in the arts, architecture and many other fields, is beyond me. This will probably be good, but you'd think by now they'd understand that a desktop is not a phone, an iPad, a tablet or a mobile device unless they intend to completely dispense with desktops and possibly laptops altogether.

I've already got it a few days ago will try it on my net PC on the weekend "Windows 11 x64 Dev Build 21996.1 Consumer Edition" it's supposed to be quite stable but as you all know MS Gates crap always take a year or more of development.

Unfortunately or fortunately as I said depending on how you look at it, yes. The Russians and Chinese have it down to almost an art.

    Hey guys,

For those brave warriors already experimenting with Windows 11.

Is there any difference in performance, or any other significant feature that makes it worth updating?

    Thanks!

But has Microsoft said anything regarding our interest areas such as latency audio performance or other stuff that may be interesting to musicians? If not it would be interesting to make a sort of group that pushed for such stuff like a lobby lol
