    Hey long time lurker,

I was wondering if there is a way to use cracked NI products alongside legit versions.

Right now I got bunch of cracked plugins I'm using, and I was going to purchase some legit ones, but I don't want to screw up the ones I'm using right now, and have to start reinstalling

    Any tips on this?

Make a copy of your VST, VST3, and Components folders. (wherever your plugins live). When you start installing plugins, install them as "one at a time" as you can and get each one to open in your DAW before continuing installation of others. you may even decide to reboot between each install also.

Each app or plugin you install can possibly be incompatible, conflict or whatever. You obviously have to check. But by verifying them one by one, you will almost certainly not end up having to reinstall a ton of things. (and you will have a backup just in case).

Okay install them one at a time and check. When you say copy component folders do you also mean the folders in the user directories or just programs files?

Are you getting komplete ultimate? if so, i'd suggest reinstalling everything to be clean tbh.

I just went legit with komplete ultimate CE and reinstalled everyhting. Then at the end I just replaced the legit kontakt dll with the cracked one and everything works like a charm.

The Native Access app will also help you identify any potential issues. Some applications will have a "repair" option with a big orange flag if there are any issues.

No not ultimate. I'm going to upgrade to select. Maybe on another sale I'll upgrade up, but for now I can't.

Alright, then do one by one as suggested by clone. Anyways, the Native Access app will propose a "repair" in case there is anything wrong with the files

With Service Center it was easy, but Native Access seems to be a pain. I tried, but everything got messed up, Kontakt would not load certain libraries anymore etc. So, I ended up simply using the cracks for the ones I own also.

I was thinking of just doing this. But the plugins through NA are all up to date, whereas the cracked versions might not be. Like drumlab, the last update on here is from 2015.

so lemme just make sure i get it right,
i can install LEGIT komplete bundle, even ultimate, then replace the kontakt vst with the cracked one -> and ill be able to use any library? both from native access and both "cracked" libraries? (i know theres no such thing cracked library but u know what i mean)

also, when installing komplete ultimate lets say, will it delete any installed kontakt libraries? or their .xml files in the service folder?
