GOOD DAY "PLEASE DO MOVE MY POST IF I'M ON THE WRONG THREAD,
I'M KINDA IN A RUSH THIS TIME...
    "

So here's the sitch, quickly to the point...

I've posted something similar to this, but last time I asked how to do a specific effect,
now what I really want to know is, what are the other effects I could do to vocals.
"I seriously don't have any idea on what to do after cleaning my vocals."
 please do help me, I'm so darn stuck with plane ol' 5 layers of vocals, only containing: Lead vocals, Doubles, Fillers, Extra Low end voice, Plain Chants.
Please I hope someone would teach me some more variations,
and also don't tell me to "...go to youtube..." Coz' I've been there, and when I type
"vocal effects tutorial" b**l sh** stuffs come out...

If you got youtube suggestions, please do link it to me, or rather tell me what to exactly type, coz' I'm so sick of that suggestion. Not really helping anybody, coz' I've seen that comment all over the forums not just here...

    That would be all, thanks.

    ONE LOVE
    GOOD VIBES

There's millions of results for numerous vocal FX by doing a simple Google search..

What are u trying to achieve.. specifically?

i hate to say this, but you may want to try something that will give you 'instant' results thru presets so you can tweak & experiment with different fx & such to get a feel of what you're trying to do. i'd suggest trying iZotope Nectar/Nectar 2. should be a good start. *yes*

if you can explain what it is you're trying to do exactly, i'm sure more will chime in with different viewpoints & suggestions.

MU technologies have vocal fx software. Might be the thing you're looking for.

    It's called MU Voice

what I'm asking here is universal, just tell me all sorts of things I could do with my vocals. :) *yes*

This is pretty tight, checked it out on youtube already.
Even though it's so instant it still has something that would let you work on your own.

I like to try using combinations of different effects, no 'one size fits all' is ever going to be as cool, or original as good ol' experimentation.

Learn how to use delay correctly, reverb, chorus, compression & harmony plugins...The basics... then combine that knowledge with more off the wall effects to create ur own sound.

For instance, I might throw guitar rig on some vocals and mix and match the components to come up with something new, and fresh.

I never use the same effects combination twice. Every vocal should have a unique flava! :headbang:

In the end..unless ur doing some kinda odd music, most vocals are just that, vocals, they should be clear, cut thru the mix and getting too extravagant with effects will more than likely just be overkill for most mainstream music.

Also, no amount of effects will ever make a bad singer sound good however.

When its all said and done...vocal effects should, most of the time, adhere to the 'less is more' theory....IMO. :mates:

I am not sure if I am answering the right thing but here it is anyway:

    Lead vocals natural warm, emotional
    Lead vocals natural funky, fun
    Lead vocals natural angry, aggressive
    Lead vocals with excessive Autotune
    Whisper layer
    Low pitch layer
    Double tracked backing vocals (L/R)
Big unison chorus (ACDC - TNT)
    Harmony layers: Standard Pop style
    Harmony layers: A capella style
Harmony layers: Def Leppard/Mutt Lange style (Bad City - Showdown in Central Park)
Harmony layers: Imogen Heap's heavily processed style
Harmony layers: Alice In Chains style
That thing Chad Kroeger does (that throat gargly thing)
    Airy sexy House vocals

Set your eyes on something, find out what its called then start your journey. Also, grab multiracks of any song that gets your attention (Bohemian Rhapsody).

your question is to complicated to answer.
I'd like to help but that would take me at least an hour to write everything down, in a language that is not my own.
You'll have to do the work yourself.

I've watched, and still do, every mixing tutorial i could get my hands on.
It must have been over 1000 hours of material i've watched over the last ten years.

A lot of them say and show you the same things. But often you see something new.
    Stick with it.
There is no easy way to learn this stuff.

Or, just use your ears and experiment. If you know how to work your plugs or hardware you'll get there.

All of these on one track, or these are just my options? I'm just clearing things out. :)

Yah I know. My question is too "In General" I suppose. Maybe you could send me some material for tutorials... I'm really having a hard time finding some...

Except for the lead vocals, nothing is going to be on a single track. Some go as high as 30 or 40 layers for chorus or harmony stacks.

Sweat! Hiphop head here. Before I was going all out on music production. :D

Oh yeah, that would sound too much if all of the lead vocal effects are on one track. xD
The most I've gone to my track are only hmm... 4 - 6 I guess... Don't know yet, coz' I'm really doing destructive production on my vocals. LOL.
