PC cleaning: Dust off the PC and clean the hardware

How often do you clean your PC?

My favorite tool is the vacuum cleaner.

Not sure if you're joking but that's the perfect way of destroying your computer hardware via static electricity.

    Use compressed air.

I use a paintbrush to clean my Mac and eurorack synths . It keeps them dust free.

My dad had his own motorcycle repair shop. He had a compressor lying around to inflate tires. I used to just jam the air hose right into my laptop's vents and blow the dust out. I was pretty dumb, never considering that the high air pressure could've damaged something inside.

I'm a bit more careful nowadays lol. Towels and brushes for all my gear, once a month.

Once a week with a vacuum cleaner - brush (never had any problems in 20 years) and this ear cleaner thing. I do not know the English word sorry. It can reach every small corner and push air into it. It is basically the environment friendly way of compressed air ;).

Once every 6 months I take it outside & use a leaf blower on low or 50 watt fan and a paint brush.
But for inside once every 1-2 months, a vacuum with small attachments, paint brushes & blowing with my mouth.

I don't get much in there anyway as I have POSITIVE PRESSURE in the case.
2x 120mm intake through filters in the front and one 120mm exhaust out the rear.
(Power supply fan sucks from under the case and out the back = no interaction.)

I Use Compressed Air and a Paintbrush for the PC and then a Vacuumcleaner, if you Use the Vacuumcleaner, put a Hand on the Fans to Fix them, if they Rotate they Work like a Dynamo and give Power to the Mainboard. For my Hardware i just use the Paintbrush to Dust off and like a Slut my Mouth to Blow off everything.

    vacuum cleaner for sure,
around 2-3x a month I take care of all case intake mesh filters (Define R5 case here), along with cleaning the whole room,
around 1x a year I get rid of the dust inside the case, it's not that easy with just vacuum cleaner, so I use thin brush to stirr up the dust first

No it is a rubber "ear syringe" (thx @no_avanger)

Quite cheap, the big ones do have a really good amount of air pressure. A couple of squeezes and it pushes the dust out.
I used compressed air. But this thing is as good as a can.
