The year is 2080. There is now a 9 team league based around engineers and producers and artist who compete one on one every week surrounded by a large crowd where they compete to make the best song that is based on the topic given by the league. 3 topics for the night. 30 mins a round. The winner is picked by a combo of the crowd feedback and judges scorecard. Possible?
In 2080 half the world will be burning and the other half will be at war over water so I doubt anyone will care about American Idol 3.0
the year is 2021. Corporate music labels exert heavy influence on the music, and will mostly only fund artists that will fit their ‘tried and tested’ approach to pop music. They want to make the most amount of money with the least amount of risk. Pop song structures and melodies are often created using the same formula (e.g. Max Martin’s ‘melodic math’ formula). Spotify and other streaming platforms have greatly reduced the attention spans of listeners and the production of pop music is adapting to this. It’s a vicious circle. The visual appeal of the artist is often more important commercially than the actual music. This is why older and more experienced musicians tend to have little chance of ‘making it’ in the industry. Music is being ‘dehumanized’ through numerous music production techniques. but sadly it's not only in music. it's everywhere. film, books, cinema, politics, society, you name it.

Smart DAWs.. musicians? nah.. replace by A.i. 1 click and you have a whole song... playing a instrument? past..in my opinion this Artificial "LIFE"... will continue.. the world Won't END:. only more conquered. what makes a human a human is gonna be remove little by little.. the eXXXperts will rule.. and a Smart Computer will with an algorithm will supposedly make the decisions.. art?.. another way to manipulate you .. and insert ideas to your head. when the plan is complete ART won't be necessary anymore.
Don't worry this happened to me too, one time I was eating in a restaurant on a cruise ship and a huge wave came crashing through the window where I sat. I instantly called the waitress and told her I didn't order this much sea salt! When I woke up I was in the clinic where the doctor said the sea salt must have knocked me unconscious because the cruise was already over.
