Softube Console 1 Hardware.
Is this just isn't a Knob Midi Controller with few preprogrammed buttons and toy leds to show volume level?

Planned Behringer BCR32 looks very similar to Console 1.
If will be a way to assign Console 1 VST functions to BCR32 buttons like in Console 1 hardware You can save a lot of money.

 

It's even better. You can connect different strips to different tracks, and to the master in the same project. As long as there is enough memory and processor.

Hi Cherry, It looks all great work you've done here.
Could you make a point by point summary on how to achieve the goal from installation to conclusion. I'm having problems following the different methods you've employed. Can you create shortcuts for changing the different consoles?, Where do you put your presets folder?
Does your method work well in Ableton Live? I'm just a bit confused and I don't mind looking a bit of a tit asking the question

Hi The ABC.

Download "Console 1.zip" for Console 1.vst3. : https://audiosex.pro/threads/softube-console-1-without-the-hardware.22357/page-12#post-539027
Unzip it in: c:\Users\YouUser\Documents\VST3 Presets\Softube\Console 1\. And in the vst3 Console 1 plugin, presets from the archive will appear, and in Ableton they will also appear.

Unzip it to any convenient location and connect the presets in the plugin .fxb or .fxp. Then you can save the preset in your DAW.

Thank you so much, Cherry. In the archive with the ssx files and txt files, do they go in the common files 'folder. This is the problem I'm having after following the r2r method. The ssl module only shows when I choose to name the track. Your method with the 'activate' cmd files. Can you put this on the desktop, click the appropriate cmd file and the other consoles will appear? That's what I meant when I said 'point by point' After following r2r's method, I'm struggling with your method.

Thanks for the presets Cherry. I have a missing plugin error on SL4000E, am i missing something? I think i got all the R2R stuff for Console 1.

 

Friends, if you used my method with activation, i.e. run "activate. cmd", then you only need to run "activate.cmd" from the folder "Console1 Channel Strip\4000\activate.cmd" to restore all the default files for the correct operation of strips. In the future, do not use the method with activation, but use only presets. How to set presets I wrote above. I want to note that the presets also work with the official version of Console.

Worked nicely, i can use the 4000 module!
I wonder about the other .c1preset files that are installed, are they of any use?
E.g. Round Off The Rhodes.c1preset (zener bender preset)

 

Good question, how do you access these presets? There are a load of aptly named presets with this suffix (c1preset) it would be handy to be able to use these.

Also, do I have to close and re-open the OSD window every time I want to move from one track to the next?

The others are ok, but i thought the default 4000 was best anyway cos its a bit annoying having to figure out these preset things

 

I think I have these presets only for the hardware console. At least in the plugin, the preset does not work according to the settings, only the chain of devices is connected.

No need, the window automatically switches when you switch to the draw track.

 

When i finish, i right click to close the program for the windows task manager.
Is there any other way to close the windows when done editing an instance of console and then open it again like a normal plugin?

 

Can anyone with the hardware, convert the .c1preset files to .vstpreset and .fxp? I know it's a bit of work but it will be well worth it. I think there is a total of 245 presets. What do you think?

Hi , When i own the Console 1 but install the R2R releases , is it possible to use it with all functions and all the Channel Strips ?

Because i dont want to use the legit installer with i lok protection.

 

Yes, you can except for the Summit Audio Grand Channel afaik.
