Hello all,
I just installed Arturia Pigments 3 rev2, and while it's a great synth, I'm a bit annoyed by all the presets appearing twice in the plugin's browsers (see pics).

All I did was installing the thing, and then moving the C:/ProgramData/Arturia folder to my D: drive and creating a symlink to the new location. Everything works fine (with Live 10) except for this small issue. I've search my whole computer, and the presets files only appear once, in the ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\Pigments folder (not sure what are the .info files in ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\FactoryEdit\Pigments\Factory).

Any idea what might cause this ?

Have you tried just removing the database file and let it rebuild itself? It's in the presets folder... db.*

Close out of Live, then just move that file out of there to some other random location (just in case you want to put it back for some reason). Relaunch live and see if everything fine.

 

Try to remove file C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\db.db3 (don't forget about backups!) and Pigments (or other arturia synth) should regenerate presets database.

I never success symlink-ing the Arturia files in the Program Data. All the plugins will not load at all. Did you just moved the presets or the entire folder ? Weird that you can actually make it work but get this (double presets) problem.

 

I moved the whole Arturia folder and it's working fine. It's the only Arturia product I have so I don't know about the others.

 

I see. I have em all, and attempted to do that 2 times, failed both. Have to keep them in my almost full C drive.
