Hi guys,I've got a problem.I am using Nuendo 4.3(Air ver.) for several years.Never got any problem.There inside was Nuendo expansion kit,in which Halion one I really use sometimes.Today (after one month or more) when I tried to open Halion one for one of my new project song,I found all presets are disappeared.I don't know how or when it gone. I uninstalled Neuendo4.3 several times and reinstalled but every time it's the same results.I tried to locate content by right clicking it but nothing happened better.I searched internet for any solution,I got some topics about this matter but not helpful for me.Here in this forum lots of computer specialists,Please anybody can help me ? I am using 32 bit win 7 ultimate.Thanks in advance.

 

have you searched for the content folder, should be in your roaming folder, I think file type is .HSB

I don't use it myself, could never get the thing to work properly, but I'm pretty sure it has lost sight of where the contents are

 

In my case it is in C/Program data/Steinberg/Content.I locate it by right clicking on Halion one.Nothing happened.

 

I think the default location is C:\\users\your log on name\appdata\roaming\steinberg

 

Yes,I have done so, nothing happened better.The funny thing is my previously saved projects(with halion one) are opening.But with the saved preset only.I can not change or select the new presets.Perhaps my Halion one can not read the presets any more.May be some app. installed latter are clashing halion.It is also installed in my laptop {running xp sp 2)No problem there.You have any bypassed idea to use halion ?Should I format my descktop ?

 

the only thing I can suggest is to uninstall (again) and then remove all entries left in the registry and then try a re-install, you shouldn't need to reformat. good luck
