Came across this mixdown the other day, a little ditty I did about 12 months ago trying to get to grips with S1, unfortunately I can not find the song folder (must have deleted it) I remember creating it with just one Omnisphere preset ( I think) and FXExpanion tremor for the drums, along with a bit of eq. for the preset. I have absolutely no idea what the flipping preset was (there are hundreds of em!), anyone have any idea?

I don't exactly remember the preset but remember that you can make lists of the patches used in a project in Omnisphere. That could help you avoid this problem in the future.

 

if it is categorised you should definately look under the piano or keyboard category. Sounds like a digital version of a Rhodes...

 

Sorry to hear it. Looks like you might be doing some patch testing... Good luck to you as there are about 857,561,403 patches in omnisphere lol.

I'm sure it was just one of the bog standard presets I was playing with, damn annoying though

 

Super Attack Rhodes 1 or 2? Harmonic Rhodes? Mellow OrganRhodes? I think it's Mellow OrganRhodes. I checked it out, sounds similar. There's only 20 something Rhodes patches so just play it in the background and match the characteristics of the timbre. Check out the attack, listen if any chorus is applied, other effects, etc. Once you narrow down what it certainly doesn't sound like you have less than 10 to choose between.

Yeah me too. I head into Omnisphere and suddenly it's 5 in the morning, the place is a mess and I'm the last man on earth forced to face off against hordes of the undead. Every time.

I think it's "knockin rhodes", in which case, I lied, the lower register must be a piano, definitely a sustained piano string thang going on in there, sorry 'bout that

 

derp. either way really you can get a similar sound like that from anywhere...sounds more like a teh lol sound anyway...
