I forgot all about the Bootsy plugins, thanks for reminding me! They are still worth checking out today. As are the rest of the ones you mentioned.

 

if I was on PC it would be Recycle 2.0 and Zero-X Beat Creator for transferring samples to hw samplers. Akaizer and PaulStretch are also pretty old and I would still use them too. But less than I used to because Paulstretch got added to Audacity and I got an old Akai.

for Mac, I think I am going to have to say Albino 3. for now. I'm putting together a DAW setup on an older Sierra Mac Pro, and I might get some additional mileage out of the old URS Compressors and the TC Powercore 32bit plugins soon.

powercore Access Virus and well even its update Waves is older then some of the people on the forums

 

The old Antress Plugins use it sometimes via jBridger. Still one of the best compressors.
