First off audioposer76 if you know that it has a month long trial what's not to know in a month. lol The software has only been around in one incantation or another scince the mid 80's where the hell was you under a damn rock and you come on the scene in 2013?

Second I didn't know i had to activate for more time this was the message i got
You have not activated your Cubase 7 license permanently yet.
You may use it for another 18hrs and 9min.
Please activate the permanent license in the eLicenser Control Center.

Third for what you wanna do you should know the logical choices are Logic , Cubase , or Sonar so don't get cute Audioznewbie! i"m partial to qubase it's hot and logic too bad they took it off pc. *yes*

Umm in Live 9 (2013) there are PDC issues, mixing that sucks, no score editor, much worse performance, etc.
Cubase 5 (2009) has all these things working beautifully.

P.S. Sonar is the best of both worlds Acidised wave/loop files plus if you have old outboard Synths like Roland, Yamahas , Korg etc you can change the patch selections from Sonar.

True points indeed and I hear that 7.5 is extra dollars but what else can you do but use all the cracked versions reaper, sonar, live fl studio and buy the ones that aren't cracked and you'll be using at least 4 different softwares to accomplish a song lol. but they all have there weaknesses and strengths.

Absolutely man, I agree. I actually really liked everything about it except the GUI, mixer and the fact that at least on my system it's the most unstable DAW and consumes way more resources than it should. They do get some things spot on such as the fact that you can switch to other plug interfaces at the top of an individual plug. On top of that the plugs load quick, maybe this is the tradeoff for resource consumption because that shit if fucking fast when loading a VST interface. :wow:
There are little things like that which are a pleasure to work with and you can see they put some thought into it. In my opinion though it's still not there but I really hope they will get there one day soon.

    BITWIG.

    now back to reality..

    I like studio one.

Most daws have the arrangement mode. A few have a few extra stuff n less stuff. Overall, its all about trying all.

People say FL studio is for n00bs or its easy.. yet i really can't get use to it at all =/

I really wish ableton would re-work arrangement mode.

If S1 didn't detected all of your plugs is just a user error, don't blame S1 for that. Me, myself, i got tons of plugs and all of them are recognized by S1 with no Problem.

The stabillity and resources problems are clearly a subjective problem, cuz' i have a 3y.o. 6 core amd x6 1055t 2.8ghz and S1 take the advantage of every bit of power, without any problems.

The GUI is really it's big weak, but i already managed to get comfortable with it so is no longer a problem to me, i enjoy the fast workflow more. I wish :beg: ... maybe in a future V3 release, to have a better GUI and also eye-candy anti-aliasing waveforms, like the Cubase and Reaper do.

Talk about work flow in Cubase7. i find it awesome ... ok the didnt build a button for everything but there is the possibility for button like options with macros u can complete any task with a keystroke or 2 and its the way you want it. that and track presets... has reduced my time of setting up and doing stuff in general.

You said "i find it awesome" and honestly i found it awesome too... but... the question is... "you found it faster enough too?" Belive me, try to compare it against S1 (which has macros and track presets saving posibilities too) and see which one finish the job faster. :) The fact that C7 can't swap samples in the arrangement view straight from the media browser, make it slow for me. (how fast can you compare samples in the arrangement view without deleting them first and rearranging, like you have to do in Cubase? God.. this task is on the fly in S1 )

Yea, and frankly, i found Teddy being a little bit perplexed while using S1 in that video, i amused alot. But afterall, he's cool and a great producer. It happens sometimes  i really enjoyed the video.

I started demoing studio one, and actually look is not really that bad either. One thing I noticed straight away is how the marker follows the sound as it actually is as it slides over the waveform. I had a funny sensation like something clicked in my head. I didnt have this in live. Not sure if this was a known issue with live, or it was maybe only my computer bnot agreeing with it.
I downloaded some tutorials and cant wait to explore. It will be a pain in the ass learning all the things from scratch. And then I bet, as soon as i learn it, cubase will get cracked

    +1 For Studio One
I prefer to create in FL and mix in Studio One
I wish I could fully switch to Studio One but I can't get over the FL step sequencer and piano roll.

If you really persist on trying Cubase, Grab a hold of Cubase 5,I don't think the bare essentials of Cubase have changed since.
