in windows I installed only for test and it works perfectly but im mac users

 

Haven't Used Nexus for 10 years or so and it was promising then but not quite there. Gotta say, although the sample quality is pretty good, it's a little basic and underwhelming for sound design?

My take is, it's a big sample player with some bog-standard fair FX, Filter Modulation, and a sequencer.

Maybe I'm missing something? but compared to Omnisphere it's a bit of a toy and a platform for buying proprietory generic expansion packs (unless you can make them?)

As far as I can see, (maybe I'm missing something) there's no sample load function for manipulation of sound design, and it is basic to say the least compared to the possibilities in Omnisphere where you can load your own samples, wavetables, third party libraries ect..?

Combine Omnisphere with a decent Kontakt Library or the Reason VST plug paired with any sampler in a DAW (S1, Logic, Bitwig) and I cannot for the life of me see why you would invest heavily in this platform?

Sure it's great to have quality Sounds on hand ready to go, I get that. It's a vibe maker.

Sorry, I know this isn't helpful but this is just an observation or maybe I am missing something?

The torrent is very slow.
I tried couple of torents but still under 100kb even 10kb, 30kb.
I think it will end at the end of the year.

yo why is everyone using the wonky torrent (these people complain it doesnt finish downloading) and slow file lockers? The WeTransfers links on the sister site are literally the best mirrors. I had mine in under 2 hours (160gb), full speed no limits. just jdownloader and make sure its 1 at a time download. why everyone is still bother with the torrent version is weird to me. mine worked out fine.

 

For me WeTransfer is 1GB for 45min .

There is no Fiber net here yet.

downloaded mine from yandex.disk, whole nexus installation took about 2 hours. its kinda tedious to go one by one but it takes abt 40 mins. download took an 1hr 30min and installation and unzipping 30 min.

Can someone please help me I’m on Mac and I can’t even get the factory presets to work I put a NEXUS library folder in applications but that doesn’t work

It may be a little late to say that but yesterday they just repacked nexus with all the extra packs that some people dont have, it has some skins too and other contents that people maybe looking for, the download is extremely poor ( ) so if you already have your nexus downloaded please don't be dumb as me and try downloading this if you are anxious

Also @ArticStorm ,I feel like this thread is getting bigger and bigger so I think it would be interessing to leave some little details in the OP as some people may not have time to read all the thread and may not be warned that this is a risky plugin:

-Leave a explanation that we don't know if this release is stable/trustable yet
-Leave a complete guide step-by-step of how to install and activate it (mac/win)
-Leave the details that newer expansions have just came'd out and they are now avaliable
-Leave the ip's that the users who want to risk install this have to block just to feel a little bit more safe
-Leave the know things that doesn't work properly

Try to split the download in half just go whit Nexus.iso first and then split the banks in 2 downloads to get a bit faster download time!
