It comes with instructions.. Install dmg file.. restart computer. Drag and drop K'd files to the respected folders. My Grandma can do this stuff, and she's dead.

Exactly that did not work in my case, otherwise I would not ask.
Logic shows at startup that the plugins can not be opened.

    @namurtik
So I guess you must have already disabled SIP to install them, so it's not that.
Can you rescan them or tick their checkboxes in Plugin Manager?
    That can often do it.
But your sort of problem has been coming up a lot with the new macOS.
I guess you are on Big Sur?

Hi, thank you very much for your answer.
I have indeed not disabled the SIP. I have not read anything about this in the instructions. I am new to the macOS world. Is that a bad thing? Can I do this after instalation?

The crackers assume you know about your OS if you are using cracks and such things will hardly ever be written in the .nfo instructions.
I don't know if it's a bad thing to have only just got a Mac...
I'll get back to you on that one!
Well yes, but I'm confused as to how you could still install them without it switched off.
Anyway do it, see if it helps, and switch it back on after.
And if you are going to run cracks you need something like Little Snitch to stop things dialling home.
But alas I think Apple have done their best to make it so that such things don't work on Big Sur.
I am still assuming you are on Big Sur. I have asked you once.
Oh, and turn your Firewall on in System Preferences.
Apple used to make it switched off by default in all macs! :deep_facepalm:

you dont need to disable SIP to install these.
there are no changes and framework or dynamic libraries changes necessary.

    - make sure you install the latest version k'd by CODESHINE (FabFilter.Total.Bundle.v2020.12.08.MAC-CODESHiNE)
    - run the DAW under rosetta since the intel binaries are patched, and not the ARM binaries
    - also make sure you have xcode command line tools installed (xcode-select --install)
    - you may need to de-quarantine the files (xattr -cr / xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine )
    - and if it all fails maybe re-codesign yourself all the plugins you need (sudo codesign -f -s - )
    * like smoov grooves said - Little Snitch is very recommended to buy if you plan on using cracked software*

now off topic and on a personal note - if youre not somewhat of a computer nerd, OR willing to experiment and learn about the OS security level requirements - i think you might want to stay away from most mac cracks...

you need to know your way around these (fairly simple tho) methods of de-quarantining plugins and apps and codesigning them, managing permissions and so on...
the k'd fabfilter bundle is probably one of the easiest cracks to install and if you find it complicated youre gonna find other stuff way more complicated (im not being a douche or anything - just honestly)
id recommend reading comments on the mac releases and seeing how to troubleshoot most common problems

Well done. This was in the back of my mind as the main possible thing, but I don't know how it is on the 2 last macOS versions at all, but heard this was very important now.
I admit I thought disabling SIP did the same thing.
Well done again! I forgot! Important for the codesign and other commands to work.
    Agreed.
@namurtik And this is very true. Definitely not being a douche.
Doesn't mean you won't be able to learn it all though.
But if you are on Big Sur, this will be tough and probably not always fruitful now.
Sorry I forgot that I didn't need to codesign those plugs. Was a while back.

And I think that's Best Answer right there, from vuuru.

vuuru_keg just gave some excellent advice that can be applied to installing most any k'd plugins on Mac. The only thing I have to add, is that sometimes a restart is needed after installing a new plugin before Logic will recognize it properly. This seems to be less of an issue under Big Sur, but on Catalina it was true quite frequently.

    Well said!
Even since Snow Leopard up to now, it is often the one thing that people forget about.
And the next time they boot up and open their daw they're like "Oh! There are the plugs I installed!".
Still happens to me sometimes!
