I had the same issue but its an easy fix. Put the presets folder (From mac release) in the 'Nexus Content' folder. Then move the 'Nexus Content' folder to the application folder. Then change the name in the json file to "library_folder": "/Applications/NEXUS Content/",

Done

 

I remove it and put into trash. i have legit avenger so.... the same sounds... with smaller price and + Synth+sampler+best arp so... I dont need nexus sht!

I come from the Chinese forum which cracks nexus3.
This cracked edition is a cracked cracked edition,which means a crack seller cracked nexus,then he re-encrypted it and sells the nexus3 with full expantions in $100.The released cracked edtion is done by another hacker,he cracked the re-encrypted nexus edtion.
I believe the AWS server is come from the "$100 man" crack seller.

so this is weird, from what you are saying, someone actually cracked it but decided to sell it as cheap instead. that was patient zero, but some other chinese guy bought it from him, realized this, and tried to reverse engineer his crack, and then he succesfully did but failed to figure out that it was still trying to contact some aws server? this story is getting weird if true lol

 

I read the forum when this was first released, the impression I got was that the cracked version was being sold really cheap for a while. People were saying that anyone who paid for this was going to be really pissed off that this crack is now available for free.
