Does anybody know who the creator of this app is, its for Mac? I saw it on this video its some kind of sample manager but I cant find it anywhere online. The app is called "Search"

I know thats what I said in my post. If you read it back, slowly. lol. I asked who the maker is. How do I find it?

This is proof you should never jump to conclusions. I was gonna call you out for giving a nasty rating (not to be petty, just out of principle) then I noticed OP decided to correct you AFTER the fact he corrected himself!!!

 

It's no longer called 'Search' (because that was a fucking dumb name for a program), but 'soundq by prosoundeffects, here's the old intro video for when it was called Search (check the logo):

That company's FX library releases are about 50 gb. And that guy probably has all of them.

What is particularly special about the program that you were "scouring" for?

 

nothing particularly great about it just wanted to know more about it

 

I started with the obvious searches which likewise got nowhere, but then I narrowed in on figuring it was a competitor to audiofinder and started looking at their competitors with GUIs where a waveform was displayed at the bottom - I figured they'd changed their product name, and logo, but that while the UI might have progressed, a waveform display at the bottom is fairly unique, that narrowed it down to about 4-5 products which I then just bounced around checking in archive.org to see if any of them had renamed from search.

SoundQ was the 2nd or 3rd one of the products I checked.
