Volumeshaper as single or in shaperbox doesnt make any difference in cpu use so its all good

 

Cool to know. I think the issue for ArticStorm was in visual workflow: "The problem is that you have to click on volume everytime, plus i dont want the other stuff right in my face. If i want volumeshaper, only this one should open, otherwise i get distracted and im not in the mood to actual click this everytime."
Using them a bit from inside ShaperBox I get what he means.

 

Ive been using shaperbox2 vr no issues for a year. One of my fave plugins. However I haven't yet dared press the "sync" button which is supposed to download the latest presets

I second that. Bought it at pluginboutique for about 11€ as introduction price, and have since then used it in all of my productions. One of the best plugins I recently bought.

I just pressed Sync for... science.... and now got 289 new presets from the cloud. lol

 

You can go even lighter than that by eliminating plugins altogether just by automating volume.
But yeah devious duck machine, lfo tool & shaperbox will get you there with more features.

@jollyr0ger you've made more than one thread saying you're having trouble with plugins, are you sure it's not a setting on your pc or something else?

For the most part most plugins will work on my pc. Every once in a blue moon I do get one that doesn't work but then I figure out it was just some dumbass move on my own end then I fix it & it works again.

But even then I will get maybe like 1 plugin that just won't work no matter what I do, but it's never multiple plugins like what you seem to be experiencing.

 

@Donut Nyamer i have an old notebook that gives me problems, but apart from the problems with Exponential reverbs playing after the stop, and an old version of the volumeshaper I don't remember any other problematic plugins! "at the moment"
i ask about the experiences that others have had to know if they have had timebomb etc.. and even if i do not express myself well in this language this is the only place where I like to hear the opinions of others on plugins, plugins\cr..d advice on software, etc..

In that case I usually just have to scrub the contents of that plugins in all the folders it left files in after in uninstall it, then try a full reinstall. Maybe your registry is holding onto an old key that's conflicting with a new one? Not sure, sorry.

I just grabbed 2.1.0.CE-V.R off audionews (its pretty small). It installed, and looks to be working fine. Of course there's a chance it will time bomb, but I think based on the comments over there, it should be fine.

I also rolled the dice and hit sync, but I can't tell if it did anything. I have 35 pages of presets though, not sure what it was at before I hit sync.

@naitguy you must be online and press sync. after a while it will connect to the server, and after a while it will start downloading presets! you see all the steps in the top left of the plugin, and an orange loading line will appear!
