TBH, that console 1s look awesome with the (tiger-ish) wood housing.

 

We just bought a new TV and soundbar for the living room and I told my wife yesterday, "Oh, we should drive to the tip tomorrow to get rid of all those damn boxes."

Wife replies, "Oh yeah, and we can take all those boxes from your synths that are cluttering up the back room as well."

I made that face above too.

One of the biggest joys of being a boomer is having a house with four bedrooms and three sittiing rooms when all your miserable kids have finally left the premises. And a paid off mortgage.

Whenever she does start complaining about how much space my synths and their boxes are taking up, I always point to the people on American Pickers who have multiple barns full of rusty old cars that they haven't driven for years on their property.

Those guys make us look like a model of reasonableness and restraint.

I too have found that 87 style mics can really only open Belgian beers. The head basket was made for them specifically. It's weird because you'd think that a German mic would would open a German bottle, but it doesn't. Try it for yourself.
