I've downloaded the latest R2R release of Positive Grid's BIAS AMP 2 and there's this weird display/GUI issue I get whenever I start it up, as a VST in Studio One 4.5 and as a Standalone:

Does it work for everybody else correctly?

There's not much I can do besides reinstalling. Every time I try to reinstall it I get this message:

"Failed to deactivate the license at this machine!"

Maybe I'd need to erase that license, which I had from a previous BIAS AMP 2 installation, before I can install it correctly so that it works?

 

Any updates on this? I'm having a similar issue.

The key is to do the following steps AFTER you uninstall the program:

1. Uninstall your previous version.

2. Delete the following files / folders

C:\Users[User_name]\Documents\PositiveGrid\BIAS_AMP2 (folder)
C:\Users[User_name]\AppData\Roaming\PositiveGrid\BIAS_AMP2.settings file)

Also delete any traces of the program from common files C:\Program Files\Common Files\PositiveGrid

Now that the previous version and related files have been removed, you can proceed the installation again. Please visit https://www.positivegrid.com/ and login to enter Download page, download and install the new build.

 

If it wasn't an R2R release, then definitely!
Sometimes R2R do say to uninstall and get rid of all traces prior. Traces as per the comment above.
The comment that talks of a legit software! hehe.

But it would need to be patched or cracked...
