i mean, an option to switch between (kind) stereo or mono panning. for me, is annoying that the only option available is the mono one. also, that is one of the only things i miss from protools since i made the switch

    thanks for the upload!

well, "show page" and "collaborations" are half of the one hour video. the Show-page stuff is hardly of any interest for me.

Another example of lost opportunity is the collaboration feature. it would have been a total revolution if built in as a "peer to peer" feature, available to all customers! builtin into Studio One! that would have been fantastic. But greed made Presonus again choose to develop it as a "rent to use", totally dependent on their servers.

the rest (to me) are nice small additions, nothing dramatic, but ok.

Totally okay mate. Even much appreciated after PreSonus filed a complaint against the one that @jojofun posted.
Totally agree with you there, that would've been a really amazing feature and made them a force to be reckoned with. This relegates it to nice but I'll probably never end up making use of it kind of feature.

The cool thing about PreSonus is that even minor release numbers introduce a ton of features. I still think that it would behoove them to make sure that everything that they've already implemented worked great before moving on but I can't say that they don't give you value for your money. There were a few interesting updates here and there that caught my eye. The fullscreen mode is definitely welcomed so I can make use of every bit of screen real estate on my widescreen. :like:

Thanks for all the info and keeping the post updated.

That features potential is freaking huge, but you are right, it will only stay as a "nice, could have been" for most of us users.

awhen you look at it all listed like that sure, they do put in work. and sure, thats why i too decided to purchase Studio One. thats why we care a bit extra. You are welcomed btw Catalyst. Cheers

what i'm guessing (i haven't installed yet, but downloading it) is, as the man said, every inch of the display will be useful for the software, at the editing and shit

I assume they mean that they can take up the space your taskbar takes up and while it's not huge, it's nice to squeeze every little bit of screen real estate out when working.

On 5.2 they introduced a bug, now if you listen to the sidechain of the stock compressor, it doesn't do anything, it will keep running with the final effect. But if you try with a 3rd party effect with sidechain listen functionality, the phase compensation bug is still there.

wasn't there an option to put the software on full screen?? if the answer is no, that is what full screen does (but, for me, it doesn't show the option of the session... or maybe not at the page that i reached before putting this comment)

X to doubt. R2R had to patch the binary to use their keygen. It's the reason no updates from them since 5.1
