Over December and the Christmas period I watched the total members here go up over 1,000 or so. We have around 50,000 members now. I haven't checked recently though.
And in real time you can sometimes see that the post count is 8 or more every 5 seconds, which I thought was impressive.

If you aren't logged in, there is a time (and date) somewhere at the front page of AN. It is at 0000HRS sharp (12:00am) at that time (UTC+3) on the 2nd of every month the needs for the invite code will be removed for 24 hours.

 

Yeah, that's the thing, if audioz doesn't accept those requests, the site will be taken down. But why the DMCA is targeting audioz so severely, (as I far as I know, its the closest site to the scene, meaning that, after the scene comes audioz (PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong) since the copyright holders cant access the scene since its really private, they will consider audioz as the main source (Although it's not, you know what I mean) so if we want the audio warez scene to stay alive, audioz has to accept those requests.

Just my .02 but I think sites like this are the great equalizer for consumers in that it shows greedy software companies we're tired of being ass raped for digital products. If there's a small company that's providing a great plugin at a fair market value with no intrusive and constant online authorizations - then I have no problem paying for it as I couldn't expect my clients to pay for my services in all fairness. At the end of the day, it's a choice you make.. not whether there's pirated versions or not. So much more SERIOUS real criminal activities that aren't seeing the light of day that are actually causing humans harm, and those will never be prosecuted.
