I have an 3rd Party effect on one of my tracks, but at some stage I want to turn it Off and then back on again.

I can't work out how to do this. There seems to be no MIDI Learn function when I can assign an on/off switch or indeed any means of being able to assign knobs . buttons / sliders etc.

I seem to recall seeing a MIDI Learn button in earlier versions

What am I missing?

No, this isn't an external device. It's a MIDI track. I used an effect on the track. But I t's out of place in certain parts, so it's a VST I need to be able to control the buttons, not my guitar or keyboard.

 

If you left click on the knob in the VST it should show up in the top left of your Studio One screen, just below "File Edit Song etc".

You can either assign a control directly next to it, or use the hand sign to drag to a track and draw in automation for it

 

Thanks, that helps. I can drag it to the automation track, but is there any way to assign it as a parameter in the Piano Roll editor?
