IMO their stuff feels a bit "not-ready", but hey, I hope they improve over time

appreciate it if you could elaborate a bit. you know, language barrier and all. Are you implying that their products aren't up there yet with the big boys ? heard good review about the Mixbus32c DAW though, tried it don't like it. I kinda like the new AVA Bass Flow.

me too, but then it got me wondering Film Post Production Audio work is really a different world from the.. well, audio world that we know. MAAT's price is already thought as ridiculous but then this one take it to a whole different level.

My take: If you're running a Pro Tools post production house then the price of this is nothing, and you benefit from the surround features, possibly big-time, but I don't know that really.

For the rest of us it makes no sense and $1500 would get you a whole lot of hardware/software instead.

I honestly don't know but from the video I figured that some of the best studios (Sony etc.) for Film Post Production all have a Harrison Console. This is new to me, how they do it in FIlms, surround system audio production doesn't really interest me (I like them as end user, watch tv, films), so probably haven't pay attention to their production hardware/tools.

..but the Harrison MPC looks like a normal.. channel strips.

Thought it was a joke until I went to their web page. $1,500.00 U.S. for a plugin.

Does it do your laundry & walk your dog?

For $1500 it better be a stripper rather than a strip channel....On a serious note. Is this also available as a vst?

Think of all the virtual man hours of soldering, cutting cable, all the virtual electronics and fabricating every bit of the channel strip for this plugin...not to mention the delivery cost of this hefty vst. It's prolly cheap at twice the price:rofl:.

You jest, but it's actually "modelling" a digital console.

Lemme just ask R2R about these... :hahaha: Ok, jokes aside, this bitch is only AAX. Meh.
Yes, that is, a real console not a plugin "emulating" just a part of that console's single channel for about the price of the real one lol.
Btw, if a moron like the one on the op's posted video can have 30k subs, surely the world's end is coming hahaha. Showing photos, speaking, more speaking, even more speaking and actually saying nothing and most importantly NO LISTENING COMPARISONS of the plug whatsoever. Crawl back where you came from... Pffff...
    Cheers :)

True! We have seen too many videos in which there is a lot of talk about how good the plugin sounds compared to the original but the "original" is nowhere to be found. Then, we get people all over the net repeating that such and such is the "closest emulation" or that "they nailed it." :wtf:I want to hear a side by side comparison. I don't want a developer saying that it is a close emulation blah, blah, blah. What is a developer going to say? We tried to emulate a Neve EQ but the end result sounds like a Peavy one? Give me a freaking break! This emulation label shit has become big money for developers. Potential clients (us) love to hear all this talk about having the sound of a $400k console for just $49.99 or even $1500.
