He talking , singing and she answering.

(out of topic) i once went to a rock concert.....non famous rock bands, local kind of thing

and the only moment that captured my attention and stuck with me was this very strong melody.......i was trying to think hard where i know this from

i ended up going home and after a while i stumbled across it or realised (can't really remember) it was the chorus from miley cirus/wrecking ball....they were doing like a rock version of it

but i know how it feels looking for that melody...hehe...good luck!

There's a pretty clean vocal in a remix version on youtube:

You could work with tools like 'Zplane Peel' to isolate certain elements of the song.

Edit: there's a 'Soft Cell - 2018 - The Soft Cell Story (FLAC)' on torrent, with a live version which has good vocals
