May him rest for good now ! Just workwise, for what he brought to us, he deserves it.

his ability to tame human ear with his own science and craft is a great gift to mankind.. i really mean it guys.. i love his craft..

 

It is sad that, doing a search on New York Times and BBC on-line, there is no mention of his passing, no mention of him at all.
At least our community knows, understands, deeply appreciates his fundamental importance to recorded music in general. I suppose that's the best we can hope for in this very upside down world.

Update: well, finally on 19 feb the NYT did an obit for him. If anybody can find anything on the BBC it would be about time.
