I realize this may just be a very stupid question but here I go.

Will the same plugin sound the same processing the same sound source on the same monitors in the same room but with 2 different PC's with 2 different strengths?

Say a PC from 2011 VS a PC from 2019

Will the plugin still sound the same or would the extra processing make it sound different?

I mean at the same 24k quality on the same interface as well as all the gear besides the PC.

I know there will be a difference in latency so I'm not asking about these types of differences.

I don't use loops, I loop my parts with my own hands using my instruments. Go finish your poops.

Thanks, I thought that might be the case. But I thought I'd ask since I'm not a tech guy so I didn't know if changing my PC with more power will reflect on my sound.

All good. You won't be able to run as many plugins obviously, but the ones you can run will sound exactly the same.

I knew it was a dumb question & I'm sorry if it gets asked a lot. But that's how tech noobing goes.

oh donut my boy yes it is a stupid quiestion but i will because i like yougive you as straight an answer as i can. Look at vstis the same way as a video game is made lets go with cod thats looked the same for the past 15 years because its built on a game engine the same way vstis are built useing a engine that suits the way that vsti functions

Love your comparison, I've heard a similar comparison with bits & images with photography which made sense in the same way.

Idk why for some reason I thought that better chips meant different processing so I thought maybe would have a different output.

I have seen a similar video of a guy comparing the same sample through different DAW's which had no difference at all. I know that this might be a bit different but it was a still interesting to see there was absolutely no difference between DAW's whatsoever.

I never carry or conduct any tests like these myself but it's still interesting to see that someone else has.
