I like it, I think you need to use a much more unique sounding clap, maybe process it a bit and give it more punch. If you have a solid clap, then it can really bring out the punch in your kick. Try making the clap in tune with the kick so it would snap with it. I also think you need to add some swingy percussion to go along with it.

But I love the piano and the guitar, very well done and very smooth, digging this, especially that nice piano countermelody/sorta hook that occurs, really sounds dynamic and works very well. The uplifting voice(idk what you call it) also sounds pretty good, I like it.

The Hats are really dynamic, they sound great. I like the sutble reverb you add to the guitar on certain parts, and I really enjoy the highpass you use on the vocals in the background and the delay you add to it as well. The breakdowns really nice as well :)

Good use of that ASS effect as I like to call it on your piano.

The kick drum is also well done, as well as the bassline *yes*

If you can perfect this track and also get it mastered by December 25th, I'd love for this to be on the album :D

Yeah Agreed clap sucks... Also as it's jazz/funky house try to layer it with snare... or try snap to sound a bit different... it's boring to always have kick clap hihats with basic groove ... also find variation to your thème buid a new section in your construction... it's too ON/OFF Beats with always the same section repeating... Try a shaker section to cut the main hats a bit... when it will re-enter in the song it will dynamise it a bit also...

Or maybe add a vibraphone solo in your construction like some Kevin Yost song ;)

Cheers nice track by the way ;) simple and effective
