Having a problem on Lion 10.7.5 myslef. Can get past install but the server won't load when I click on the app. Also I tried reinstall and same issue.
As far as 10.7 goes, only server version 1.0 has worked.
New version works great on Windows 8.1, High Sierra 10.3 and Windows 10. I did notice that T-racks tapes and Leslie crash windows 8.1 server(all other t-racks work fine) and there are some CPU spikes every now and then coming from the plug in version on Mac but for the most part this project is coming proper.
    Cheers.
P.S. this should be attracting way more attention than it is. If you have more than one computer and are not using this for mixing you are missing out. (granted you don't have one super computer that can do it all).

You can go to github and create a help ticket directly to Andreas. See what he says.

Hi, @Peter Gabriel, Speaking of IK Tape machine, yes, I have the "System overload" problem in Logic / Windows 10 server set up as well. IK's tape machine uses too much CPU resource and causes too much latency. It works in small project but definately not big sessions.

I'm planning to buy a new PC for Audiogridder server. I'm on Mac and Logic X.
I don't know much abut Windows stuff so I need some help chose the right hardware.
I friend of mine told me to buy a Gaming PC with Intel i7 but what is your thought about it?

A friend of mine just messaged me yesterday regarding his research on a laptop for his audio projects. I gave him the gaming pc or workstation grade machine easy answer. Also, be careful of lower end gaming PCs. Some companies use the term to market a machine way under spec. It will be obvious in the details. Also, are you trying to this on your lowest possible cost? You might want to list the kinds of software you are running and some goals you want to accomplish here. I am sure people will offer some suggestions. Maybe you need more RAM in one scenario another might need more CPU cores.... just a couple examples

In my opnion, you don't need a gaming PC, at least not a powerful video card. Customization is the best choice, i7 w/muti-threading, 32GB, 512GB SSD, low-end video card ..... etc. These are just my recommendation.

using an i7 4770k + 16GB ram w 1060 6GB as an audiogridder server and it rips shit, been trying out all the new goodies in logic! some glitches, little latency here and there but 100% usable for "live" mixing, and most importantly printing effects runs smooth

Hi guys. Can anyone help. I have an late 2015 imac 27 5k i7 quad with but also have a 2020 Macbook Pro 16 i9 8 core. I was hoping I could still use the Imac as my main rig and the MBP as my slave which I could lend upon the processing resources, if it work this way?

Is this possible? How could I connect the 2 together as the MBP doesn't have an Ethernet port. Has anyone tried anything similar? If so how does it work, latency wise etc. Also would I need identical plugins on each system?

Check this should work. I haven't tested but i find no reason why not be working properly.

i have both pc and mac connected under audiogridder.
If you are going to do heavy processing the i9 on your pc is straightforward solution.
So get an i9 10th generation a lot of ram (32-64) a decent gpu

Never got this to work as I can't find a solution to get Bootcamp to recognise Thunderbolt ports. So cannot establish a connection from slave to host :(
Anyone know if there's any way to make Thunderbolt drivers work or something of that effect? I spend hours and couldn't figure it out

May i suggest one of these for your audio gridder setup—-install both the soundgridder vst and and server on you music comp and use the lenovo thinkcenter mini comp to supply the cpu for your vsts—no monitor or keyboard or mouse needed for the mini lenovo—-just turn it on before before firing up your studio comp 869FB8D2-6101-49F4-8B88-6475A542ECEA.png

The spec looks OK. Does it comes with Windows OS?

To whom buy this, you need to install VNC in order to use AG w/o monitor, keyboard, mouse.
