    Hello friends ... Greetings ... :welcome:

    This is the first time I have posted my track on this sub-forum in order to get lots of input from friends here ...

    You could say this is still a sketch ... Everything is still raw ... The instruments are only drums, bass, and guitar ... But the form of music is like this ... My plan is to include a little ethnic elements from my culture, electronic vibe, asmr , and several other elements ... Include vocals too...

    Because it is still in the development stage, I will update every time there is a change ...

    Default keys which is Do = G# ... :trashing:
    Wish me luck ...

    ==========

    Here is the Track #7 - Update 1

    ==========

    2022.11.07 - Update 2

    All instruments are complete
    All instruments are still raw (not mixed and mastered)
    Mixing & Mastering in progress

    ==========

    2022.11.30 - Update 3

    Main Version

    Instrumental Version

    Mixing and mastering has been done.
    Any constructive feedback is welcome.
    :bow:

    ==========

    Thank you in advance for your time and input ... :bow::bow::bow:

    Mixwise I'd lower the bass and adjust the depth of HH and cyms to BD, snare and toms. The left HH sounds a bit artificial and resonant, maybe swap it with another?
    Other than that, nice effort. :metal:

    Not at all my type of music so I don't feel qualified to add any input but the overall production sounds decent.

    You're right, maybe the low of the bass also determines / increases the thickness of the guitar low when the palm part is muted ... is that true?
    Is using EQ enough? Or use a VST like RBass or MaxxBass? Do you have any ideas?

    Sure I will add this ... With EQ right? Or with compress too?

    Because I use VSTi drums, I will layer each track that needs too ... :wink:

    I'm always using BFD3 so far, do you think I should swap it with another piece kit from BFD3 for HH? Or am I using only Hihat from other VSTi Drums?
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    In terms of arrangement, what do you think? Is the order okay from intro to outro?
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    Thank you very much master ........... :bow:

    Even though my work is not your type of music, I really really appreciate your attention, time, and your input for my project ... Thank you very much ... :mates:

  7. I loved it for the first minute. Then as I continued I realised it didn't do anything different. The song needs a road map. Where are you starting? What detours are you going to take? Are you going to stop for a rest? And finally what is your destination.

    Thank you for your time, attention, and input ...
    Apreciate it ...:wink:

    ===========

    First of all I really appreciate your time, attention and input ... Thank you ... :bow:

    In this song I compose from the beginning the guitar is reversed in, then it goes up to the lofi riffs then goes up to the intro where all the music comes in ... then the tension drops again in the transition to the verse ... and so on and so on until there is a stop after the breakdown... An then climbing again towards the final chorus/reff and towards the bridge towards the ending ...

    But I think it looks like the road map that you are talking about is not about that order, yes?
    So maybe this is something new for me to learn ... :yes:

    How to describe a road map into a song? Is it possible to draw a road map into a song using a sign from the instrument? Like the addition of other instruments? Or is the vocal arrangement able to describe the road map? Because the vocal track has not been recorded yet ... Waiting for re-recording bass and guitars ...

    Since your input is very interesting, maybe you could please provide a more detailed explanation with example if you wish ...? :bow:
    Thanks in advance ... :wink::wink::wink:

    If the bass has a significant amount of freqs that are caused by palm mutes, yes, but this not a necessity.

    Yes, my idea would be just lower it - levelwise. If this works, why tweaking EQ or using additional plugins?

    The HH and cyms sound more far away than the shells. So it's a matter of reverb/room.

    Depends on how much you've treated it. If hardly then yes, then I'd use a different HH.

    I think what Lenny is talking about is 'simply' arrangement, an arc of suspense. But this is a vocal track so far without vocals and maybe this doesn't translate very well - for now.

    Interesting track logo, the Masonic AUM. Usually encapsulated in a circle.
    Absolutely loving the track regards the arrangement and playing. Well done. And with vocals it will scan fine I imagine.
    Agree with No Avenger regards the metals vs the shells, and I won't comment on the mix as he is present and this is more one of his genres.
    Also, predictable of me I know, but the forum 'Work in Process' is a mistake imo because we've all said 'Work in Progress' since the beginning of time.
    So I would suggest using the correct term with industry types. It looks better!
    Keep up the good work!

    Depends on whether the process is a progress or a regress. :winker:

    I see ...
    I'll look at it in more detail later after I re-record to a higher note ... Transpose it to three higher notes ...
    I'm confused to call it in English ...
    Transpose 3 notes higher or up 3 notes?

    I'm sorry that I misinterpreted the word "lower" ... I thought adding the frequency, but just lower the volume ... Okay, got it ...

    Maybe I'll add one more layer to the bass ... Distorted one ...
    So I have more control for low and high frequencies ...

    I used to do this on my previous tracks ...
    Do you think this time I should do the same thing? I am just referring to this musical need and my workflow ...

    What if I try to increase the volume fader of HH first?

    It's not that hard to do ... But let me try to turn up the volume first ...

    Well, I'll pay attention to that ...
    Since this song needs to be raised a tune, I haven't been able to record any vocals ...

    :thanks:

    ===========

    Hello Smoove ... How are you?
    Thank you for your time and attention for listening and providing input for my track ... Apreciate it ... :yes:

    For the logo I use the initials of my name's alphabet starting from the letter A ... Out of ideas and to shorten the time ... For the lower part of the letter A, I copy it then I just flip it and put it as a backslide ... Hopefully people do not misinterpret ...

    But thanks for the details paying attention to my name logo ... :bow:

    Thank you so much for encouraging ... :wink:

    OK, I'll pay attention to what No Avenger has to say about that ...

    I use both ... "In Process" on this Thread and "In Progress" on my Soundcloud page ... Hahaha :rofl:

    Yes sir ... Thank you ...
    Have a good day ...
    :thanks:

    I'd 'transpose three notes up' or 'down'.

    Mixing two basses can result in a better sound but can be more effort aswell. Have you tried FF Saturn?

    This doesn't change the sound, right? :winker:

    Tranpose or Transpose? :rofl:

    I have tried FF Saturn before ... I will experiment this time ...

    Right ... But If I do EQ and give different result, It's okay to try right?
    Or maybe I'll swap with other pieces HH from BFD3 ...

    Lol ... :rofl:

    Thank you Xup ... :mates::cheers:

    Agreed. Getting lots of different feedback is really useful.
    Your work is really good.
    IS there a plan for a vocal on this?
