Feeling very disheartened today after spending pretty much the whole day trying to install Keyscape...

I really don't know where I went wrong?

I typed in "Keyspace" and worked my way through the updates from bottom to top... The update naming conventions were kind of confusing... I was wondering if different crack teams were involved... anyway...

Omnisphere is updated to version 2.6 and working but Keyspace isn't responding to the response code from the keygen... when I enter demo mode it says the STEAM folder isnt writeable (even though I used BatchMod and manually updated permissions)... Theres an update for Omnisphere but I'm cautious about using it since as it requires the use of the same keygen...

Perhaps soon I'll try a fresh install of Keyspace...

If anyone has any general advice or tips i'd be grateful.

 

Also within Omnisphere I get the error when loading an instrument:

Cannot load SoundSource "XXXXXXXX" because Directory "Keyscape Library" not found

 

I thought I'd give an update here just because I had a breakthrough and I'm definitely not alone with this....

I installed a few updates and I also reinstalled the VST/Component (I'm on MAC)... Previously I had no luck trying to use the provided Spectronics/Omnisphere keygen for Keyscape and reading the threads confirmed it won't work

This is going to sound really simple but I couldn't believe it worked last night!! I've installed quite a few pieces of software but I never had to do this!

All the plugins i ever installed in were in the main library folder below:

/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics/STEAM

Anyway, they was this folder:

/Users/[USERNAME I REPEAT USERNAME]/Library/Application Support/Spectronics/STEAM

I put an ALIAS STEAM folder in the latter folder pointing towards the first folder in the main library

Also for both STEAM folders, I right clicked -> GET INFO -> Scroll to permissions down bottom -> Open Lock -> Change all permissions to READ and WRITE and also make sure to click "Apply to Enclosed"... when you hit this it will load a bit... and yeah it took a good while to load up the first time but everything should work!

Did you replace the dlls/vsts with the patched ones?

 

I spent a large part of today just starting the install from scratch (because i wanted to make sure it was up to date)... I did replace the vsts/plugins... the last plugin seems to have demo mode in the standalone version but running it in omnishpere seems to work fine

Perhaps patching the plug might work.
