Why norCtrack libraries sound bad?

I've tested a lot of them KORG PA-50 SD, Roland Fantom G6, Roland GW8, Yamaha TYROS 2 etc, but i noticed that the sounds are like kind of cheap, like low quality with an strange stereo panning, i know that synths are old but it is nothing like the virtual korg M1, wavestation, triton, and the arturia virtual synths, those sound much better

Are those libraries bad or it is just me?

You're comparing sample libraries to virtual synths.

And you say the libraries in the thread title don't sound incredible.
The problem is with you comparing them to libraries that sound better.

Btw, Plugin Guru are known for Omnisphere samples. They have a few Kontatkt instruments, and they are not trying to faithfully sample a flagship synth.
And you compared virtual synths to sample libraries.
One is a digital recreation of the synth, one is just some samples.

The Norctrack Korg Kronos has some pretty decent sounds. But you can't compare Apples to Oranges. Just remember That there are a lot of things you can do in Kontakt that are not possible in the Korg VST plugins. With Kontakt there is a lot of creative freedom to create your own sounds in combination with the patches from the Norctrack Library's.

I don't know. I think I tried one of their libs years ago, and binned it straight away. So it's a name I've avoided ever since.
When people sample hardware synths, they won't often use any of Kontakt's internal fx and synth parameters because they just want to capture the synth.
The synths you mentioned are velocity sensitive, so to make it feel and sound real you need to sample very many velocity layers; this is usually where devs fall short.
Plus, if the synth has some modulation that relates to velocity, you can't really capture it and make it playable.

That's the one I tried! Because, Kronos.
    Binned it straight away.
You can only say it has some pretty decent sounds because they are Kronos sounds.
I found it totally unplayable though.

i also binned all of them, but they were so big in size that almost seemed like a quality product
