All I can say is that the Gojira plugin DOES have the standalone component. Is there any technical reason? Maybe, but at least one of the Neurals has a standalone, so maybe the rest are feasible.

I though Cory Wong wouldn't impress me but I love it. You can get great screaming lofi tones out of this suitable for several genres. Getting some nice atmospheric tones out of this too. Jazz tones, Clean-Crunches.That Poastal Service pedal can turn your guitar into a pad with the delay & wash pedal. So nice.

Plini also had some elite blues tones as well. Each one I try surprises me in it's own way.

"Very impressed" that means Neural DSP got a new customer?

I believe that r2r managed to break the rest of the standalone version. now we just have to wait for their generosity to share. in curing the program we always stop at the metaforces stage, but they did it easily. the serious standalone version perfect for all of us here.

CPU HOG! If you work with a lot of tracks you have to track your guitar at the beginning of the project and then bounce down straight away. Most people's computers are not ready for the amount of CPU power required. Poor coding. Yes, they sound great but I'm not falling for the hype of failed youtube rockstar schills! Not one of them mentions the CPU punishment (which makes them impractical to work with for a decent-sized project). I bought mine so can't comment on the others. I can have hours of fun as long as I'm just practicing/noodling!

Nembrini almost sounds as good with hardly any power required by the way. Same with Mercurial!

have you tried? Many errors are encountered when running this way.
I do not recommend using savihost.

That's bad news as that was what I was planning to do.
also I don't think r2r will release revised versions with their standalone included because there's not enough interest. ( also I don't know how to make such a request.)

What is wrong running the software from the daw? plus you may need a cool bouncy delay or mystical reverb what then?

We could open a voting topic here on audioz
requesting the autonomous version of Neural.
they are very good at it.

I believe that selling many users in need of autonomous versions
    they would possibly attend.

    it costs nothing to try.

After all, it is one of the best audio programs in demand at the moment.

Yes, they are CPU hogs indeed.

However, I wouldn't use them on every track of a song, unless it's a guitar centric song or genre.

For pop songs, I would use these in special guitar parts and use more economic options for background guitar parts.

Or you could use them as real amped tracks...Just track, freeze, done...

There's also that plugin by Tone2 that does something similar. Lets you host plugins without a DAW. I think it's called nanohost?

Yeah but as Olymoon mentioned, they have very invasive DRM and you should be wary if you have cracked Tone2 plugins installed even though it's free.

It's a hard choice but I think I'm gonna keep:
    - Fortin Nameless (perhaps Cali): Fortin bad-ass ultra-high-gain
    - Archetype Nolly (perhaps Gojira): several sick-ass metal amps
    - Cory Wong: I love Wah pedals. Only for that

I also want to re-test Mercuriall ReAxis and some Nembrini ones. For not so much CPU usage.
