What is your favourite metronome app or best metronome online?

When you have to practice, what do you like to use?

I never cared much about a metronome's sound. So I use(d) either Reaper's or drums.

I prefer to use my phone when I practice so these are all ios apps:
Tempo (free version does everything a metronome should, don't buy)
For Polyrhythmic work Metronomics is the main go-to, I also like PolyNome for its programmability.

Anyone have any good leads on app(s) that can handle nested tuplets?

I use a traditional metronome plus either soundbrenner or metronome: tempo on android.

Try "Timeslicer", I don't know if it does what you want but it does a hell of a lot.

Joseclon, search for NCH Tempo Perfect it´s perfect and yes people use metronomes when they aren´t using any DAW.

Yes, but you have to press "play" and it's only sound. Sometimes the graphics (see something moving) helps.

I think that "Pro Metronome" have this function of nested tuplets, but I'm not sure 100%

just checked, on android I use
..although imo nothing beats the classic "pendulum" one. You can't really learn/practice piano/keys without it. I think the same goes for other instruments (of which some don't even require power..;)) The craziest are those for drummers with "rhythm coaching" that stop for a bar or more, so you really know how accurate/sloppy you are. Well, drummers are part of the "rhythm section" ;)

also: (phone) apps are handy for "beatmatching" a tune on radio, a DJ ..aso

Hey Metronome is also worth a shot for computerless metronoming.

I personally don't use them, but Soundbrenner (android) does something you could find useful, have a look.
Also Metronomics seems to feature them, never used though.
Also interesting for windows is Metronome Plus.

Well, to our brains and practice there is not clock accuracy difference, but of course digital is much more precise than mech.
Also I hated that my Maelzel had a terribly loud knock, I'm very happy with digital virtual now.

There's also Multirhythms, I had it installed but I've not used it much. It seems to have a solid repertoire of rhythms, so maybe that works for you better.
