Hi all

Hoping for some help, my son want to get into loop making and i remember this being quite easy and fun but i cant get the .reg to work properly. I've got a newer version (FL Studio 9) but thats way too complicted for him (he's on the autistic spectrum). I've got the demo of 3.0 from 'old version' website and a registry key to edit in notepad but i cant get it to work. Any help would be appreciated and if this is poted in the wrong part of the forum please tell me and i'll move it or admin can move it

My recommendation would be Serato Studio. Available from the sister site. Very easy for beginners. Removes all the need for music theory and quick to get listenable results. Very loop based too.

 

Looked at that, i cant make head nir tail of it, tried searching for soul seek but no joy. Thought it was a torrent site but its asking me to download something? is that right?

 

I had had a quick look at that and if i cant get this working then will definitely consider it. Lzyness on my part, i'd used fruity loops 3.0 so kinda know my way around it, hoped to avoid leaning something new to teach!! but thanks for the suggestion, wil give it a shot if all else fails

 

Honestly it's not like learning a new DAW. You will literally pick it up in a couple of hours by watching a few YouTube videos and it's actually a lot of fun.

3.0 probably won't work on anything newer than xp (but i can't verify that since i don't have it).
i do know that both 3.4, and 3.56 work on win10x64. I have both versions but compared to 3.56, 3.4 is just not usable. no modern vst plugins work with 3.4, let alone 3.0. 3.56 is the better option.
