Cool to see the first submission for the album

I must admit this is not really my type of music so take my comments with a bucket of salt.
When I imagine this as an album track I feel like there's something missing. I would try to add some melody parts for a bit of variation / dynamic, or some vocal stuff, like a hook or some cut up stuff here and there. Not a lot, just something like a couple of cherrys on a cake.
I like the build up around 5.00 and that good feeling when the beat kicks in again

 

hmmm, I think your track is missing a solid bassline. This is so important in music especially when you're making danceable music because it harmonises with the kick and blends it in with the track. The kick stands out too much now and feels a bit mechanical, despite your track having a degree of sonic variation and a bassline arp, the fact that the kick is too strong just makes it feel repetitive...

I think it's important to invest a bit more time in the track and bring it together a bit more interestingly. You have decent elements going, but they need to be reinforced and made apparent. Everything happens way too quickly rather than with pace and motion, which is so important when making trance especially for an album.

I suggest checking out Armin Van Buurens track 'Intense' to get an idea of what I am saying. This is the best example I can give because that track is not really the best production and doesn't have a solid bassline either, but because there is pace and timing in the arrangment and writing, it feels album worthy and makes coherent sense.

If you can improve on this track however it would be fantastic *yes*

Melody is great! All the sounds are brought in nicely. Kick is great imo. I have to say the hihat you use is a bit junky. It sounds like the transient on the hat is crushed(maybe due to ducking under the kick). Maybe try using a hat with a clearer highend. The track is very vibrant. It sucks to not hear clarity in the hats as well as all the other sounds. Same with the snare/clap, you can barely even hear it. If you wan't to get more heardroom so the hat and clap shine through a bit more, may i suggest cutting some of the highend on your kick and other elements you may be able to do without. Also, if you stereoized your hats/clap it would bring it out alot more in the mix as well as potentially solve the crushed transient problem.

As for the bline. A simple chanied analog bass would do well to round out this jam.

Song sounds amazin to me thou. Pad and arp/lead are a match made in heaven.
Helps that the sun is rising right out side my kitchen window right now while I enjoy a bigas bowl of cocoa pebbles while listening to the track.
