does anyone know if any of the current amp sims will give you the sound of an old Kustom Amp, trying to get that CCR sound, and I'm sure they used Kustom amps

I don't know but would love to have one for nostalgic purpose as my first great guitar was a new wine red 1976 Gibson Les Paul Standard ($350 at Sam Goody in The Green Acres Mall) paired with a Kustom combo. They fucking ripped!

I don't think there is any specific Kustom Amp sim (Plush Amps looked exactly like Kustom except came in several different colors). I think it was the bizzare colors that Kustom & Plush used that no-one really liked.
If you use a good amp sim like the Nembrini PSA1000, I'm pretty sure it will give you the sound and tone you want. Santana also used Kustom amps for a while but he used an external 12ax7A preamp which gave him his trademark lead tone on it.
I'm certain you'll find something to emulate the sound you are after.
