Im just listening on computer speakers atm. The vocals are too loud, synth too quiet. Piano is just right!

I dont know the original song so I dont know whats yours to comment on! Sorry!

Overall the track is too tame for my liking, Im not a big fan of straight House. The clap sound is really grating on me too for some reason.

Vocals sound ok I think in terms of volume but I agree piano is spot on.

Drums could be a little tighter and the main open hat is a tad bit too long (just cut the tail a bit)

Not liking the synth you have chosen to play the chords either but that's a sound choice rather than how you have mixed it.

I was struggling to find an effective synth. Must have tried about 200 from massive, but the tracks not finished totally as I will change bits to improve it.

But again thank you for your input.

Sounds kinda throwback as far as house goes now. Its a couple chord plucks away from Chicago house haha. I can dig it thou. I miss that old groove this gives. Has a bit of Nu Disco feel to it too (which is huge right now).
Idk if you just dont like chaining or what but if you chained those synth chords and that bline....it wold add alot more pump and headroom for you to play around with.

And incase you are still findin it hard to find some proper synths, you should checkout SM101's banks. They have TONS of quality pads, leads and such that are great on any house track.
