A giant hysterical euphoria has broken out because of some channel strips from Slate Digital?
The effect of this post (likes & comments rate) equals some piranha swarm.
All that because of some "Dream Strips"? Really?
Are the Marketing from Digital Slate so effective (vintage analog brainwashing)?
Is that the "Analog Voodoo" mixed with Adobe-Photoshopped Pictures as GUI?

It's not criticism about this post at all, just wondering about the caused Pokémon collective hysteria...

It's been a rough year and a rough Xmas.
I think people are just grateful to get something new from R2R.
I am.

 

dont care about the plugin itself , but whenever r2r cracks something big its exciting dont know why

 

People are not only happy because it's Slate. They're also happy because a very difficult protection has been cracked and this gives hope to the scene. It's also a rare piece of software precisely because it hasn't been cracked in 4+ years, so that gives it a lot of additional value.

 

the euphoria goes to the work made by the team r2r.... what they with the plugin is fucking epic and gives hope to see a lot of other things that hadn't been cracked yet (like protools ultimate to name one)

 

I just enjoy watching R2R destroy plug-in developers so called “best protection ever, can’t be cracked”

And to top it all off they make the plugins run faster, use less resources then proceed to tell them that the plug-in code is shit and could do with some work

 

Because now, basically everything protected by iLok that wasn't previously "available" is pretty much going to get put out there.

 

I am not big fan of marketing-driven software like Slate or Waves, but VMR user-experience is perfect for me. Sound is good, UX is perfect, so yes, i like it.

 

If someone disagrees to my post so please don't hesitate to come out of the rat hole and argue against my comment.

I gotta see that, before I believe it. I am curious about this Slate stuff.... never felt the need of needing it. But I do see it more often in Tutorials/online with producer dudes and such....

Yeah it's due to the marketing and the protection. This is the kind of big release the community has been craving for a while, and it has symbolical power. Let's wait and see though because in the comments a lot of people are having problems. It appears that the release has some issues, but I can't judge that. Let's see if they release a fix or something. I am very excited though regardless.

 

It is exciting to see what is coming next.... this is a hobby for most of us and dare I say it, wouldn't know the difference between what each of the slate compressors was doing to the sound anyway other than making it louder!!!

 

Well, you get 30 slate plugins free to try. Even if I am not a big fan of stevens plugins. I am excited to get them. And it is great to see r2r making an awesome job. The least I can do is say thanks, vote it up and leave a nice comment.

 

R2R is sneaky with it, they probably have everything cracked already haha

I live by the old H2O-motto "Try before buy". And now that some plugins don´t have any full functioning demos (nag sounds,mute,etc) and some don´t have any available demos at all,I am always grateful to try out the plugins to the fullest,before actually buying them,which counts for Digital Slate plugins as well.

 

Bah, maybe maybe after some glorious years of decent releases from Radium, Zone, H2O, AiR, sincerly R2R does not impressed me so much yet (is not ilok crack). And since GxxxA is gone no1 was able to fucking crack what Steinbug deserve (syncrocrap usb). At least I must recon that R2R grow up very well, acquiring experience and good crackers, the good mood euphoria (I don't see any hysteria) is for the info against the developers, removing all the shitty code to free the cpu power for audio process and not for a fucking protection is the best goal, and more then this recoding the app to correct a bug in a eq...ahhhh it remind me the old era Steinbug against Radium and the H2O synchro emulator info and the amazing video in the release. Was time that a group finally give a few emotions. Don't call it hysterical euphoria please.
And anyway Slate digital plugins are very good, maybe you don't like it, who like plugins when in a studio can use real analog hardware instead, anyway compared to tons of famous plugins (waves in first) they are very good.
