I guess some can still use it but for latest Logic users it's end of story, no GUI anymore just like the Camel Audio stuff.
Not that I used it that much in the past but it was still fun to work with at some point.

There are alot of alternatives:
-Exponential audio (Izotope) Plugins like R4, Phoenix and their latest Neoverb (which is cracked on OSX)
-UAD Lexicons
-Relab LX480 (OpenSSH cracked)

i still see vintagewarmer like everywhere... mixing tutorials, deadmau5 streams, my own music lol

music software developers are pushing us to be in ilegit stuff, i posted recent same subject i own sonivox playa, pulse reggaeton, sampla etc. and they discontinued and all not working because you can't after install authorize and are completely useless because samples are encripted i contact support and they respond are discontinued. no support.

 

by the way i will upload all that sonivox stuff i own, maybe somebody could be hacked as sampla was (not woking also in windows 10)

 

as I can understand you need "PowerCore Software" package, yes?

I never had and never use any hardware from TC Electronic.
But I saw few nice local offer and I'm interested about Powercore PCI.
And I love Virus. Conception of Virus as a plugin is awesome! But unfortunately discountinued.

 

Also other stuff from FXPansion is barely supported, unfortunately, especially since Roli acquired them. Great sounding stuff, such a shame.

I really miss Bionic Delay! I used to LOVE that plugin. Was my standard delay in all of my productions a few years ago.

Other plugins that are discontinued that I still use are Steinberg's Virtual Guitarist and LM-4 MK2

 

Problem is that it's 32 Bit, and don't want to "bridge" it. Want my DAW to be as stable as possible.

 

As another has pointed out- same ownership, same god awful support. They are linked with MAudio as well, if I’m not mistaken.

I had written to air support multiple times and gotten no response. Back then they had the gall to charge money for support tickets, despite that mundane questions were not gratified with a response, not even to ask you to pay for a support ticket.

Finally, I sold an MAudio trigger finger which I no longer needed because I’d bought a push. I sold it to another member here, @mercurysoto , who I haven’t seen around here but whom I hope is doing well.

I tried to give the poor man a fair deal on the gear, and IIRC tried to discourage him from even buying it because the shipping cost from my country to his was absolutely appalling. At the time Air was closely linked with M Audio and ownership of a Trigger Finger came with a free license for Hybrid and a bunch of sounds and presets with their dedicated patch manager Arsenal.

I tried to transfer my account to him through the proper channels and was ignored for ages despite multiple emails. Eventually I just changed my account to a generic password and gave it to him. Only then, when I circumvented their bullshit did they even acknowledge my efforts to transfer ownership - not by responding to my emails but by locking my account so neither I nor the buyer could access it. I lost my Hybrid license, which is whatever, I barely used it, but I couldn’t access the download links for the trigger finger patch manager, nor could I help mercurySoto get access to it as i had saved my own windows installer but he was on Mac. I do believe they eventually transferred the account to him, but only after weeks of being shitty, unresponsive, and ultimately petty in that they refused to acknowledge my request but had plainly seen it since they stopped us from taking matters into our own hands

I will never buy from M Audio nor Air again - not that anything of value has been lost. A C-tier manufacturer of interfaces and midi devices and a software dev who can barely give away their products

Anyway thanks for coming to my TED talk. Hopefully I have accurately recalled all of this. If mercury is around he can confirm or correct. I hope at least that he got some enjoyment from it after all the shenanigans
