So, another UNCRACKED avenger appears without a license to help reverse the protection even,
    But R2R dont need it!

They need expansions, and a reaction from Mr. Keilwerth.

Does anyone know how he responded??

& R2R didn't say which expansions they don't have yet? :dunno:

PS: I dont need it, and even if it was released tonight i wouldn't use it, there is just too much of the same when it comes to soft synths.

But i am interested in these news stories of developers & copy protection vs. digital knights in shining armor

I remember that too. I've criticized a few specific complaints from R2R in the past. But when it comes to the important thing, they're the kings and that's one of their coolest moments

When the Avenger 1.4 was cracked/released , by that time, I think there was around 38 cracked expansions . I remember checking their website, those 38 expansions had around 4500 presets.
I also remember checking the price: around 70 $/€ PER EXPANSION.
No matter how good your instrument might be, shit, there are many sound designers selling huge 200-300+ preset libraries, for 30, 20 or 10 bucks, for vstis like Omnisphere, Diva, Zebra, Serum, etc...and tons of top soundbanks can be found for 20 bucks or much less.

So what kind of magic sauce do those Avenger expansions have, to cost 70$/€...? Lol, one day, one taxi driver told me a company executive in India only makes $90 per month... if that's true, that guy would be able to buy Avenger + 40 expansions...after working 3 years non stop :)

I agree. €70 is way too much for an expansion. There are some great synths out there on this price with a great amount of presets on it. It's marketing and business. As long as enough people are buying it, then they really don't need to have to lower the price. Probably there are a lot of people out there who are thinking this price is worth it.

Pick pack is 260 - 40% during BF and XMAS... hence 32 per expansion which is reasonable. Some of them are really great.

But v1.4 is everywhere already so who gives a rats ass:dunno:

If R2R spends time cracking something, keep it internal, then it gets old, outdated and no one gives a shit about it anymore = Nice waste of recognition, Im still rocking the dancefloor :headbang: :headbang:

Here is a thread on reason forums where they talk about how scared they are of nasty mean R2R! haha
Reason Moderator says "I wont visit that site AudioSex, its dangerous!"
    its so funny,
Look at these little pussies, the "creative Art world" of all its forms, really is full of weak little pussies isnt it?!

Its always the very few from the crowd of "artists" that arent pussies that impressed me, and will in the future, rock on

@RD1LDN TEAM R2R has publicly told Keilwerth Audio that they k'd Avenger, And they are waiting for all the rest of the expansions & what Keilwerth's reaction would be to make it a public release, so I think Keilwerth obviously would change the protection as it doesnt protect anymore, they would be pretty stupid not to change the protection but maybe they dont care that much about piracy in the end and they would prefer Avenger to be a lot more popular like SERUM instead.

Avenger will make a small wave with its v2, then SERUM will blow it out of the water again with v2, then later VITAL will reach v2 with offline txt2speech and win the throne

His customers are having a lot of problems with the current protection. I doubt that it could get close to Serum with its current Codemeter. I think he still cares a lot about piracy, but he's not out to make his synth more popular or more successful, he just wants to preserve his customer base. That's my assessment anyway.
