Odin 2: A Synth to Please the Gods

Ever dreamt of a kickass synthesizer which is available on every platform? With a deep synthesis engine, endless modulation capabilities and it is literally for free? Look no further, Odin's got you covered! The sound of this 24-voice polyphonic beast will take you from your studio right to Valhalla. Earth shattering basses, exquisite leads or mad FX, Odin's got them all! Use the classic sound of analog waveforms - or draw your own. High quality emulations of legendary analog filters like the Moog-ladder or the Korg-35 further shape your signal. Round your sound off with four onboard FX, or get crazy with modulation. There's much to discover in Odin 2.

Really nice synth. Thank you!

I'm getting closer and closer to doing everything music related in Debian Linux. So many VST/LV2 releases in the last couple of years, it's incredible! :headbang:

Da fuq, the shit synth is coming only as VST3 and the reason 'Odin 2 is not available as a VST2 plugin due to the ended licensing on behalf of Steinberg' is, well, strange because there's still some new software released as VST2.
But again the download is easy an directly accessible, +1 for this.

I like free. Not sure if it's it worth it. Will test tomorrow.

This is probably due to Steinberg deprecating VST2 SDK. If you're a new plugin developer you've got extra trouble to get a license for the VST2 SDK. If you already had it no problem.

It's very cool that is source code. Damn, I could compile it for VST2 myself but I would be violating Steinberg shit. Tempting...

I want to try this but it's a VST3 Synth and my host is VST2, so I looked and found this Free VST3 to VST2 Converter. Does anyone here know about this convertor and if it really does work.
