Yeah, I was an audionews member back in really early days. Had a good ratio with a cushion of several gig.

Foolishly, I let my account lapse -- doing other stuff at the time. When I opened a new account, it just wasn't possible to get a decent ratio. I don't like closed sites anyway. Warez should be free for all, not a money making opportunity for scumbags.

 

If I'm searching for warez, I tend to use Yandex. The continuous captcha calls are a bit annoying, but if finds most of the stuff that Google hides from us.

is that they send DMCA take-down-notices to our requests. For whatever reason, they have not done so since July, maybe because of the pandemic but if you continue to make requests and they get DMCA'd they CAN'T be posted. That is something to take into consideration when making requests to material from some developers that actively pursued remedy under DMCA. I have a couple of the packs you requested but have not felt like uploading anything for weeks. But I will...eventually.
BTW, I will be sending you a message telling you which ones so you delete their requests before they get blacklisted that way they can be uploaded.

 

I get lots of messages from people who list lots of requests, just because I've uploaded a few things.
They all ask why this knowledge is not widely known, such that as requesters they are sometimes shooting themselves in the foot by requesting.

True. As I said, that specific company will send take down notices to members' requests, therefore, it is better to stop doing it and at least have the upload show up for 2 or 3 days until they take it down. By requesting it, you get nothing.
