Cool, but looks like there is more work on the PC side than on the studio :bleh:

And yes the headphone are average... I would never mix on these (even if skrillex does)--> the mastering engineer would have too much problem to make it sound good... :dancing:

    Good luck

    I suppose it's a home-studio [bedroom producers].
Mine is not that sophisticated but i can also work good with a very limited setup. The most important thing is your passion, enthusiasm and fun. I once have worked in a super-sophisticated and highly equipped recording studio....but they anyway had to shut down because of missing Jobs. So it's not the "best" equipment making you successful, big or happy.

i had 2 beats by dre studio's and i have to say they suck big time, they are 'kaput' so easily, it also feels like a cheap chinese toy i wouldn't even let my kids play with.
the bigger brother on the other hand is not so bad in my opinion, they sure are ridicilously priced, especially that 'detox' version you have, it's like 100 euro more just for the DETOX letters on the headphone itself, i think it's a waste of money to pay that much for pure decorations, BUT if you can afford it, why not? they sure are more robust! and he fact you can 'flip em up' is a nice lil thingy. maybe i'll buy one when it's a lil bit cheaper, or is it really proven that bad? i've checked it's frequency response n all and seemed pretty decent, or did i misread?

I must say Im not a fan of the KRK's or the headphones... I do however dig the synth! I recently upgraded my setup to include a wall mounted 32" hdtv instead of wasting space on my desk for monitors, now I have a place for my turntable... I'm pretty sure im going to end up adding a second monitor anyway though, to use as the mix window in Pro Tools, damn being an audio engineer is more money out than in lol effing gear lust

Thank you all for the comments

But first of all i use the headphones not for mastering thats why i have the rokit monitors..

It's more for the late sessions and music listening.

I am also graphic/webdesigner and for a starting studio i can appreciate the setup with looking forward to upgrade the hardware.

I have enough idea's & plans to grow but you have first to start from scratch and doing it for the pleassure.

For a notification or suggestions you can comment

    Grtz

that particular model cpu has a tendency to become loose due to the higher frequency of the vibrations after 3 months. mine just started and i only have a 3.1ghz model it's pin design. sux. it's cause they only use plastic connections. but overall i'd give your setup 1 1/2 out of 10 cause dr dre is a materialistically motivated scam that belongs in a studio the size of a bush toilet.

that is new to me... maybe becouse i never use stock coolers

change the cooler to something better is cheap and your cpu will remain silent as if was in idle, you will never see vibrations again

He could make a table using the drawer space. Just a piece of wood that can hold the maschine, easy to acess and bring the mixer to the left and move the keyboard forward and move the other thingy on top. I dunno..

P.s. Don't mind me, i'm trying to play tetris with that pic.
