It sounds good, but it seems abandoned or something...

Both Viper and ElectraX feature "the legendary Hypersaw sound"

    Nothing new.

It doesnt sound bad and it certainly looks capable enough but I have to agree @Roboto , its not bringing anything new to the table. There's just so many vsti's that already cover the whole hypersaw sound, some are even free.

As far as VirusTI emulations, Viper is the only one Ive used that is the closest to the VirusTI sound.

Listening to the youtube videos on there.... It appears to me this ons is getting closer than the Viper.... But Virus sound a bit more 'bodily' in both cases depending on the sound.

    sounds pretty good.
    But i hear the difference.
I miss the analog warmth and room of the Hardware synths.

Even the step from C to TI they lost the warmth and room from C.

But at least, it sounds really good.
People 2 day doesnt even know the sound from HW anymore and on the mobile phones you cant hear it :D

What is funny about Virus is virtual synths are growing ... when it is already a dead trend.
It is probably going to end the same way than Nexus

does it come with motorola chips? Virus C is the best virus. But nothing gonna beat plugins when it comes to ease of use.Viper, Dune 3 are the closest to that sound. Btw Audjoo Helix is good too but its controls are goofy :hahaha:

As someone who is absolutely not obsessed with finding the best hypersaw sounding synth, to me it seems like a decent synth in itself. However, the price is a bit steep. One could get something really nice from u-he or Synapse for that price and still have some money left for a space suit or something else useful in these times.

I have a VirusTI and I have Viper. I even did a little bug reporting for Adam when Viper was initially released because I was pretty obsessed with the possibility of a virtual VirusTI. Ive been using my VirusTI close to 15 years now so I KNOW that sound... its embedded in my DNA at this point. I can say with absolute confidence that Viper is the closest vsti to a VirusTI that I've used. It just nails the character and even when creating 1 to 1 presets youd be hard pressed to tell the difference. It's that spot on.

To my ears Navira just misses the mark, the character isn't there. That's not to say its not a good synth, its just that from the demos it doesn't sound to me like a VirusTI. Can it make close approximations of VirusTI sounds? I'm sure it can just like any dozen number of synths available at the moment. Could you be able to tell the difference in a mix? Probably not. And if youre happy with that, then Navira seems capable enough. But if we're nit picking, in terms of character, it's not there.
