i am searching for some soundbanks with only 'remake' presets (it means that the patches are made with the intention to copy the original sound from a song, instead of getting a general approach that fits the style you are after)

i will share what i found so far:

for instance, i got from MHEO, a depeche mode kontakt that is alright but with only 11 songs

synthofsynth is a turkish guy that makes great presets for d.m. 80s, 90s etc. i would get his stuff but he asks to give my personal details -to him- beforehand so that payoneer can send me the payment request and i dont like to do it this way. he seems to be credible, though
also most of the time i only like one song or two from his banks which makes it complicated to decide

also got recently from jonas hansen a great spire 90's dance tracks bank. its fantastic but only a few songs

i wonder if you know about more stuff like this. i am mostly after synthpop 80s' hits, dance 90s dance early 2000s and depeche mode

thank you for the suggestion. i already have the emulator sounds from d.m but i'd rather use synth presets if possible

i am interested also in sounds from people like chicane, william orbit, sandra (cretu) and erasure

There's this entire website dedicated to 80s/retro/analog synth sounds and landscapes. Not all of them are remakes of renowned sounds but a good majority of them are. Highly recommend checking it out

All the patches in the OP-X PRO-II video myfanway posted are in one bank called Famous. 91 different sounds labelled.

thanks creatureofthenight, unfortunately, his presets are for hardware synths and not remake oriented all the way

 

look nthis is how i learnt synthasis basically.... pick a sound you like in any vst then copy vst but initilize it then look at each partof the vst and the parameters and re do it it in the blanked copyed vst.
