Hi everyone! My name is Marcelo, I'm from Chile, and this is the first time I'm producing music. I've been always making songs but never had the chance to record my music. My taste, and probably the sound the I'm aiming goes from hard rock to modern metal. Recently I posted the first song of a 6-track EP and I'll appreciate some feedback.
The process of making this EP involve some feelings that I probably write down and sing in the future, about some hard times I've been living this year. That's why this song it's called Caída Libre (Freefall)

Eventually I'll post the rest of the songs. Hope you like it! Cheers.

    Sounds cool! Keep at it!

Just curious, what plugins are you using for the drums, and guitar and bass tones (assuming they are done using software).

Thanks mate! for drums I'm using GGD's Modern Fusion for everything except snare, which is from the PIV, also from GGD. For guitars and bass (EZBass) I'm using Tonehub.

Sounds great man! Love the punchy drum sound and programming. Maybe the low end could be beefier... but i guess that's a personal taste issue. Another little suggestion is to vary the composition a little more or maybe add some vocals... seemed a little repetitive towards the 2nd half. Well done! :like:

Thanks man! The low end has always been an issue cause my working place isn't great, but I'll look into that. Soon i'll be adding some vocals, maybe that's why it's a little bit repetitive. Thanks for the feedback, cheers!

El título también es bueno, por desgracia este año especialmente ;)

Do you play the guitar or is also a plugin? Sounds very real to me.

    Respect, well done.

Soundwise I would either add a bit reverb to the bass drum and the toms or lower it on the HH and cyms.

Hey man, thanks! I used GGD’s PIV library, the Pearl Reference Brass 14x6.5'' with the overhead mic a little bit louder than the other to get that tone. Then a drum compressor, the Bus Glue Drum from JST, in the OPEN option, at 50%, which is in offer right now.
