Maybe someone can help me out here.
I downloaded the EastWest Symphonic Library a while ago and never got it working.
Since I recently stumbled again upon that 140Gb on my HD I said I should use it so maybe someone can help me.
I can open the Patches in Kontakt, but the East West Interface doesn't appear, only the standard view as if you pull in a WAV File and no Sound is played.That goes for every patch.
Anyone had a similar Problem or knows where to get Interface only or a standalone Player if they have one?
Would appreciate a lot.

 

That is standard, the library was originally released as a "KOMPAKT" library, and was never updated for Kontakt, as the EastWest company moved on to release the updated version for their own software PLAY.

 

Just an opinion: Get rid of EW! Their samples are outdated AF.

 

There is no interface. The interface you see in pictures are from the Play version. But the samples are the same in Kontakt and works a lot better. I own the Play version, but I keep using it in Kontakt.

 

I may ditch it, but it´s the only fully Orchestral Ibrary I have.
What else would you recommend? I want one full ibrary and many different to be able to arrange a orchestra

 

Symphonic Orchestra may be old but it still is quite useful! if you want the best get the Orchestral Tools Berlin Series. btw,You need to get the Kontakt instrument folder for the samples to work.

 

IK Multimedia's Miroslav 2 is current and a one stop solution for orchestra.

 

I cant figure out how to use the EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Platinum. Kontakt doesnt allow me to tweak. I am interested in routing each mic to a different channel, and it doesnt show an interface in Kontakt.
Do i need Play? Does anybody have a cracked Play?

Maybe I'm missing something here but I always use EWQL stuff with PLAY, which is free:

So I'm not sure why you would like to use Kontakt if there's already a working host.

 

they are making libraries for play now. but before they made them for kontakt. it was long-long time ago =)

Maybe because you actually have to buy it, and activate it to be able to use it in play? ;)

for symphonic size, i personally choice spitfire strings/woodwinds/brass libs..

i admire studio size spitfire libs too, glad able to test out the strings from sis site.. really love the experience and much much appreciate such contributions to the small 3rd world community here.. hope we can have a chance to have some bedroom moment with brass/woodwinds libs of studio size of spitfire too... *heheh written with like I knew bro Talula big contributors will read this hehe* #respect
